This is the JP box, but same quality horns as the US version. Assuming you don't need directions, or are willing to google it, save yourself some money and buy these over the US version.

I ordered this version because it was quite a bit cheaper than the more commonly available PIAA horn but boy it took a LONG time to arrive, all the way from Japan vs an Amazon warehouse. Just a heads up. As for performance it's just what I was looking for. You can always go bigger and add a compressor horn but for direct replacement this is one of the best. I got these to upgrade my '22 Honda HRV factory horns from the Japanese import "meep meep" to a fuller sounding "HONK!". I used an adapter kit (sold separately) to plug these into the factory plug and ground them to the mounting bracket. Loud, nice tone and attention grabbing, just what I wanted!

solid sound, not louder than stock but a deeper sound that I was looking for. Save some money with this version and not the American version. Same horn diff box and price.

Bought this to replace the stock horn on my '23 Corolla, which sounded like a toy horn from a bicycle, was basically inaudible and not very useful as a car horn in traffic. This horn sounds like a fog horn and will get the attention of even the most jaded soccer moms on their cell phones in their oversized urban assault vehicles. I have SCARED old dudes driving F150s. They don't expect such a massive sound to come from such a small car. Well Done PIAA. Also, this is MADE IN JAPAN not china. Again, Well Done.

The 330hz "super low" tone combined with the 400hz low tone gives my car a hilariously scary voice that most folks don't expect coming from a little sedan, I do however plan on combining this with the 500/600hz high tone sports horn for 4 note mayhem like the old cadillacs and buicks.

I got these horns to replace the higher-pitched horns on my Ram pickup. These horns are about 10% louder and the lower tones sound closer to an 18-wheeler than a sedan. I really like them.
