I purchased this for my mum. She loves Vera. It comes out in the UK before we get it in the US. So I bought her the dvd player for all regions. Worked out great!

Sadly the last ever in the series, we are going to miss Vera! A good ending though, not killed off! Great actors, a wonderful series, a real treat in the present day of rubbish TV!

Watched every episode from the start and what a super drama this has been. I’m not surprised it’s run for so long, cause Brenda Blethyn is remarkable as Vera, the no nonsense north east copper. So sad this show is now ending but could a spin off be on the horizon with David Leon at the helm.. I hope so. Utterly brilliant!

Thought they did a good job on the final season. Nice to see Joe and Kenny and Vera nattering away at them. The usual, Joe! Kenny! And they brought back, Hector, who was missing in some seasons. They needed that to show who she was. As I was finishing kept thinking, if there was just one more episode. Like a good book. Just a nice ending to a very good show.
