Making our differences not into defects but strengths.
“It isn’t easy being green!”A wise old frog once melodically told us…Especially when others want us to be enemiesClaiming we are fated to be ugly, cruel, and meanWanting to steal our power just to delude othersA movie about embracing or rejecting manipulationClaiming our own magical potential and strengthRefusing even widely intriguing seductions“Ding, dong, the wicked witch is dead”Not our theme, excuse, or dreamBut rising beyond hateTriumphant!

Fantastic ATMOS soundtrack with perfect visuals
Fantastic blu ray with atmos soundtrack. The film is great, but you know that already. The specs on amazon didn't mention atmos and I was excited to see it on the box. Watched it last night and can confirm the atmos soundtrack is absolutely amazing, as is the picture quality - a perfect demo for a high-end home theater. Will definitely be watching this one again.

The gold-tone metal bookends are beautifully crafted, capturing the essence of Elphaba’s hat and Glinda’s crown—they’re both functional and a stunning display piece. The collector’s box adds an extra touch of elegance, making this set a standout on my shelf. The 4K UHD transfer is exceptional, with vibrant colors and crisp detail that bring the magic of Oz to life. The Blu-ray and digital copies are a great addition, ensuring I can enjoy the film in various formats. Elphaba and Galinda may have loathed each other at the start but I didn't loathe this movie
I am absolutely obsessed with musicals, and I saw this in theaters when it released. I bought the bluray because I love collecting physical media and this movie didn't disappoint the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time i've watched it. The included digital code also worked pretty well.

Visually amazing, and the songs were good, too
Alright, gents, let's talk "Wicked" – the movie version, that is. As a guy who's seen the stage show, once I went in with a healthy dose of skepticism, but came out genuinely impressed. They've taken a beloved classic and given it a visually stunning, emotionally resonant cinematic makeover.First off, the world of Oz is absolutely breathtaking. They've translated the stage magic into a sprawling, vibrant spectacle. It’s like stepping into a living painting, every scene bursting with color and detail. It’s a feast for the eyes, even for those of us who usually prefer our entertainment with a bit more… explosions. The story, as always, is a masterclass in nuanced storytelling. It's not just about good versus evil; it's about friendship, acceptance, and the power of perspective. They’ve captured the heart of the show perfectly, and even added some new layers that really enhance the experience. The performances are top-notch. They’ve brought these iconic characters to life with such depth and authenticity. The chemistry between Elphaba and Glinda is electric, and their vocal performances are simply stunning. They deliver those iconic songs with power and emotion, making you feel every note.Look, I get it. Musicals aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. But "Wicked" transcends genres. It’s a story that resonates with everyone, regardless of their musical preferences. It’s about being true to yourself, even when the world tells you that you're too different. And that's a message that everyone can get behind. They've done justice to the source material, and they’ve created a film that’s both entertaining and thought-provoking. It's a movie that you can enjoy with your friends, your family, or even by yourself. It’s a feel-good experience that leaves you with a smile on your face and a song in your heart. Trust me, even if you’re a die-hard action fan, you’ll find something to love in "Wicked." It’s a magical journey that’s definitely worth taking.
