Norpro KRONA 12 Cup Multi Pot with Straining Lid, Stainless Steel

I don't know how much nickel this steel has, so I don't do as much cooking as I do watering plants, straining things I cook, and composting, so this is a wonderful pot that can be used for so many functions! I use this pot every day. I gave one as a gift to a friend and a few months later I figured out I might use it as well, so I bought one for myself. I am glad I did.

I LOVE this little pot! It’s a good size, is sturdy, is well balanced, and is perfect for heating a small meal for one! It’s a well thought out piece, and was a good value for the price. It cleans easily too.

I purchased this specifically to make and pour special chai tea in larger quantities with loose leaf tea blends and other loose ingredients since it has a strainer. The handle makes it super easy to strain and pour - and the handle stays cool to the touch even if the tea is boiling which is so cool. This is a pretty large capacity too -12 cups.

I have found that these Krona labeled stainless steel tri ply pots are indeed inductive. This makes them more valuable, to me, since this is compatible with my preffered stovetop. Being a deeper pot helps reduce boiling over. Only con is that, despite being sold from a company in Washington, they are still manufactured in China. What isn't?

Made by the same company. I use this smaller version all the time! So useful for so many things with no hassle of pulling out a strainer. I have looked off and on for a larger version and unable to find one. I am so excited because here it is! Needed a larger one for cooking larger amounts of especially pasta. I love a good heavy 18/10 stainless pot and this one has been awesome for at least 20 years. I cannot even remember where I got it. I gave family members one as a gift as well as for a wedding gift. You will not regret purchasing this particular straining pot! I have tried others with a different style staining lid only to end up giving them away.

I have no idea why this isn't the standard design for a stock pot. The tall shape means less splashing and greater available volume over burner. The handle allows for easy pouring and takes up less space in storage. The spout allows liquids to pour smoothly, and the strainer lid adds versatility.

Perfect size and shape to make teas and soups.Was a gift for a friend and she loves it and uses it everyday.Easy to clean.Wish I could use it on induction though.

This multi pot is a nice weight and is a great size. Very good quality.
