Seachem Reef Kalkwasser 250gram

I'm only dosing about 250 ml of kalk per day into my 164 gal majority LPS reef, spread out evenly over 12 doses. But even at that small amount, I've seen great stability in my calcium, alkalinity, and pH.This stuff works well, and it's very cost effective. This jar will literally last me more than 9 months. Worth it to spend a bit more for a pure, high quality product, as opposed to food grade pickling lime.

Used as intended the growth of stony corals and calcareous algae is increased. I also use it to kill aiptasia anemones and it does great! Be sure to wear gloves handling it though, it has a very high PH and can make your skin feel raw (first hand experience lol)

Started dosing this in my tank and immediately could see the difference. Corals seem happier. It mixes up instantly and you get alot in this small container.

not easy to get the right dose . much better if used with dosing system . I found out my calcium levels are plenty stable at 4 plus if I do weekly water changes . I use more salt but stopped all additives . todays salt is much better than the old days .

Maintains Calcium and Alkalinity perfectly, makes it so much easier to maintain a balanced reef in the most economical way. Love kalk. Be careful not to overdose (always drip slowly or use an Auto Top Off) or it will cause the pH to spike and kill your livestock

I have neen in the Hobby for over 40 years and i must say that kalkwasser Is one of the best product for coral, one is its easy to use, two is coral love it, you can see how your coral will open up when using this product, it's like the best secret in the Hobby.
