Q: How do you kill aiptaisa with this?

Simply pour some kalkwasser with a pipette on top o it. Beware some people have reported mixed results, with aiptaisa splits and reproduction after kalkwasser. You can also kill aiptaisa by hitting it with the same gel glue you use for your corals/plugs.

Read the dosage requirements on the back of the product container. I have a 100 gallon Reef tank with tropical fish corals and anemones. I only use two table spoons to raise my calcium level in one day. I do this daily or every other day until i reach my 400 ppm color match on the calcium chart. You need to find out what your calcium level is before using this product or you will kill your fish.

Kalkwasser's max saturation is 2 teaspoons per gallon. Using more means it's essentially wasted. It is recommended that you start at 1 teaspoon (or less) per gallon and test your water, to make sure you don't create huge spikes in pH and alkalinity, or excess in calcium. Test as needed and increase if appropriate.

Q: What’s the difference in this and reef complete?

Kalkwasser ("limewater" in German) is a concentrated solution of calcium hydroxide that has a high pH and will let you supplement calcium and alkalinity and maintain a high pH in your reef aquarium. Reef complete is Calcium Chloride, together with Magnesium and Strontium, that will allow you to maintain adequate levels of these, but you still may need to add carbonate alkalinity (Reef builder) separately. I use kalkwasser through my ATO and supplement magnesium separately.
