Great value for a shop envirnonment
Very sturdy case and can handle the shop environment. Boots up fast and can easily still see the screen in full sunlight. and the battery holds a charge for a long time.

A very good toughbook laptop so far!
Mine came with 11 installed, which saved me alot of hassle switching it myself! Every thing seems to be running good,Condition is pretty close to Accurate on mine light wear. Maybe a scratch or 2 but still excellent conditiondid not come with panasonic applications installed. You can install them from the Microsoft store, or directly through panasonic. I recommend installing them to control features on toughbook 55 series laptops and better manage it.Would buy again if I had to.

Absolute trash
Wish you could put NEGATIVE stars!! Came messed up, they had me return to fix it and then emailed and said it was not fixable and they had no replacement. It was a Christmas gift.

improperly advertised
purchased for business use on the road. it is advertised that is has 4g (just need a sim from your wireless provider) went to install the sim and found the broadband card in no installed on the computer. found one online ($89) and purchased it, then found other misc little issues like the bios is password protected (which they don't give you the password) so you cant make any functionality changes nor can your computer service. computer is a paper weight and useless. Buyer beware.

It is TOUGH
It is refurbished but like new with a couple dings that I likely would have made myself eventually so saving at least $1K was worth any "detail angst" associated with that. The only reason for 4 stars is that the 4G-LTE module was not installed in the computer as implied in the Amazon listing. So I bought a used Sierra Wireless EM7511 and after considerable wasted time trying to get it registered with my Consumer Cellular service have decided I'll just use a hot-spot with my cell phone which works OK but v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y.the FZ-55 is definitely rugged and having 2 batteries can be handy. I'm apparently hard on my laptops so this should last me a long time. Very nice keyboard for a laptop too.I recommend it to others who brutalize their computers.
