We've never had our 1 yr olds sit with us at the table to eat, but figured we'd try with these placemats. Took their tray tables off the highchairs and brought them right up to the table with us in their highchairs and let them try eating off the mats. We have a glass dining table, the mats didn't slide all over which we liked but halfway through the curious toddlers did successfully flip up the side of the mats and try to flip them (which we discouraged).That said, these indeed are great to clean, just use dish soap + warm water and we are so excited to now try them in restaurants when we go out! Kudos to Andy + family (business owners) for sending us a personal email with tips on how to use and care for these mats. We're big supporters of small businesses and are very happy with these mats! Blueberries - which usually stain everything 100% washed off with ease, as did tomato sauce, and oils from roasted veggies and salad dressings. Will be buying these for presents for friends!

These cloud mats are made of excellent quality silicone. Ours have been washed many, many times. They have not absorbed any colors (no stains!). They fold up easily for storing or taking on the go without leaving folds in the material. Having held up from so many rolls and washes, it’s fair to say they are very durable. The silicone is thick and they stay well in place. Our 2 and 4 year old daughters have no problem moving them from one spot to another when they’d like and they (very importantly for us) stay still during meals! We decided to try these after the laminated mats that we had previously faded in color from washing and would slip around causing spills and frustration while eating. These are great. I’d buy these again without a doubt and highly recommend them!

These mats are great! I purchased them over the holiday as I was having family and friends over who had little children. I am so thankful I purchased these ahead of time. The kids enjoyed the shape and color of the mats. They are soft to the touch. They can handle minor spills with the raised lip and did a good job of containing "the fun" that the kids made with food. So easy to clean and I have run these through the dishwasher as well and they have held up through four gatherings now. I have also used them as craft mats (I had a slime party for adults and kids) and they saved me so much time and cleaning in the long run. When they are not in use I just roll them back up and hide them away. I would recommend these to anyone who may have a need to keep any type of mess a little more contained and who values easy cleanup!

I bought these with the intention to use for my baby who is just starting to eat solids, but i when I got them, I put one down just for fun for my 5 year old and it has been fantastic for her! It's great for my baby, but it really keeps my 5 year old's messes contained, making it so I don't have to clean the table after every meal. The mats themselves are really easy to clean. I can usually just rinse with hot water and run a dish brush over them; then I either allow them to air dry or towel dry. They are super "sticky" to the table, which is wonderful and helps keep dishes, cups, and silverware in place during meals. I'm overall very pleased with this purchase.

I'm happy but not as excited as I was before receiving them. The description says they fit most high chairs...well, they don't fit mine. The top of the clouds extends 3-4" off the highchair tray. So these can't be used for eating at home...they'll be great for restaurant eating, but we eat at home way more often than we go out. We haven't used them yet because they don't fit on the tray. I know I said it already, but I'm disappointed and slightly irritated they don't fit. I was hoping these would be a great help for me, but they're not. Using them at home with the highchair would be horrible... I can see my baby pulling at the mat and making her food go everywhere...using these mats with her highchair would be worse than using no mats at allI plan to keep the mats, but I'm disappointed they don't fit...sure I could have measured my tray first, but I assumed that they'd work without issue since the ad says they fit most high chair traysOn another note, they seem durable and look to be good quality. I was a little nervous about them possibly having a strong plastic smell that remained after several washes, but we cleaned them immediately after receiving them and I didn't notice any nasty plastic smell. That's definitely a bonus!I can't rate the suction power or ease of cleaning because I can't use them until we go out to eat again. However, if they can be easily wiped off with baby wipes while we're out (so I don't have to take them to the bathroom to wash them off before leaving a restaurant), I'll give them another star. I'm sure they'll be durable.I'll give 3-3.5 stars for now
