Doubles as a child restraint. Great access point too.
Works great and covers a large area while allowing everyone to connect and have 0 speed issues. In ubiquity management it’s easy to set up and have all sorts of fun with. It’s big, has blue light so don’t put it where anyone sleeps.Probably could turn the light off but having a giant eye in the wall keeps small children compliant if they see it “watching” them.

EXCELLENT AP! Best one I have ever had
Hands down this is the best access point that I've ever had. I've used netgear spectrum, all the other companies, and ubiquity is the only one that I will ever use going forward. It's great value for the money, connects well, and the build is good.

Perfect for single story home
I bought 2 of these to get even coverage around my house but when I get nearly 800mbps/800mbps anywhere in the house with just 1 of these in the middle, I just kept the second for a rainy day. They are very powerful and customizable (obviously you need to have a Unifi controller to customize the power and bandwidth). If you live far from an Airport, you can use DFS channels on 5ghz which stops all 5Ghz interference from your neighbors (Who are defintely not on DFS channels). In a 1750 sq ft home, I get good signal strength and coverage all over the home on 5 Ghz. Best WiFi access point for the money

Works great in a Unifi ecosystem
I recently upgraded my Unifi based home network. I had an old Edgerouter PoE that was starting to intermittently fail. I had thought the problem was my Unifi AC Pro that kept dropping, but I came to realize that it was due to inconsistent PoE power from the Edgerouter that was causing my issues. The Edgerouter consistently ran very hot, and it seems plausible that after 6 or so years that it would start to fail.I ended up replacing the Edgerouter with the Unifi Dream Machine Special Edition. It not only gave me far greater control of my network assets, but it proved that the old Edgerouter was the culprit - no outages since the conversion. I had a third party wireless router configured as an access point that was still working, but since I implemented VLANs on the UDM-SE, I lost some wireless functionality since the 3rd party router could only broadcast 1 Wifi SSID, which was a problem. So, I replaced it with this AP.It set up pretty easily - I had a few learning curve issues to contend with, but after some trial and error, the AP came up well. I kept it located where the old 3rd party AP was, and I now have seamless coverage with the multiple SSIDs without issue. I am no network expert, and the new capabilities required some patience, but it is all up and running, and I couldn't be happier. There are still some network config issues that I have to resolve, but they are minor. This AP fits in well and provides the coverage intended, and I have much more control over how my network works!

Works well, but install configuration could be easier and advanced security not supported natively
I struggled with whether this unit should receive 3 or 4 stars. The software the company uses for setup is not as intuitive, nor easy to find as I would like. I had to research where/how to use it and natively it does not support high security as it requires other Ubiquiti equipment and software for that. Once setup and configured it works well. I do not need high bandwidth so it works for my needs. I set it up with same SSID and password as my WIFI home network and can seamlessly use either based on location in the home. Also with my installation, I actually had an ethernet cable with regular electrical box run to my ceiling (new home build) and this unit install options did not support using a regular electrical outlet box. I made it work, but the install bracket does not natively support that install option. So far I'm satisfied and it works well with the PoE switch I bought (Netgear).

reliability and integrity of the network with good support for cybersecurity applications
Ubiquiti makes good solid devices; I am happy with my network design, levels of protection, SD-WAN capable, coverage

Stellar Performance Simple Setup
I am an existing Ubiquiti customer and have an established network. I was in need of an additional AP to boost the signal in one side of my home. I purchased the U6+ AP to replace my aging UAP-AC-Pro and had no issues adopting the new AP.Setup is a breeze, just connect the new AP to a PoE enabled switch port either on your Switch/Router or PoE Injector (sold separately) and hit Adopt on the controller, the software takes care of the rest. Total setup is less than 5 minutes.Performance is outstanding and supports up to WiFi 6 (note this is not WiFi 6E). I was able to saturate the 1Gb Ethernet uplink when running speed tests. I wish this came with 2.5Gb but for my needs, the 1Gb wired speed limitation works fine for most people, but WiFi 6 leaves some bandwidth on the table.Overall great value for the money, I plan to buy one or two more and extend my wireless into my shop next.

Stable, strong WiFi!
We have bunch of these, several different models, but the same brand. So reliable and easy. They mesh together perfectly forming one solid umbrella of strong WiFi signal over a home, or large buildings. You name it, they work!
