This is a cute, fun, interactive toy for about 15 months and up. Our 5yr old grandsons even liked it, and our 3 yr old girls love it. I bought 4, so this review applies to pink, purple, and 2 blue. The baby (15 mo) loves to play with it in or out of the ball. Directions for battery are included and are 2 size AA, which I was happy to see instead of button batteries. I love it too!

My daughter's are loving these little hamsters. They can run around either in or out of the ball. They're cute and are easily turned on or off by a button on the top of their neck. They also talk and make little noises. They worked great for stocking stuffers.

Bought this for my 4 year old and have had it for 3 months still works great and is played with daily. Over time the hamster has gotten slower but I think batteries need changed. Overall great and fun toy if you don’t mind a little noise

very cute toy for the money but it takes an adult at least 20 minutes to open the wrapper, use a screwdriver to get the toy out of the package, and then another screw to put batteries in the hamster.. then put it back in the clear ball. plan accordingly.

Product is exactly as described. The children loved this toy. Even the older children were happy to play with it. Loved different colors to choose from. This toy was reasonable priced.

Adorable, perfect size and it comes in a hamster ball already, perfect for many ages and remind me of the zhu zhu pets I had as a kid

Mixed reviews on this product. We ultimately wound up purchasing 2... the first one came from Santa and of course on christmas morning did not turn on at all.... Boo! We convinced my daughter that maybe it was just shy and we could get a second to be friends. The second one worked amazing and is super cute - lots of cute hamster sounds and its a riot to watch it buzz back and forth around on the floor. Keeps our terrier on her toes! If the first had worked as planned I'd give this item 5 stars.
