Perfect!
Did they meet my expectations??...YES!!! These FOSOE Ball ice cube molds are AWESOME!Some may say that it's difficult to get a perfectly round ball. Personally I don't care. If I do make one with a flat spot I just flip it upside down like I did in the picture here. They're very easy to make and the process gets even easier as you practice. My second batch was perfect!I made a baker's dozen for guest and they were all WOW'd!!The quality of these are fantastic! ..And that sturdy little cap is more useful than you realize. Like I said these are all perfect! 5 Stars for sure!!One side-note or "con" to be honest...I use a measuring cup for easy and accurate pouring, and *my own funnel. If it came with a funnel,.. It wasn't a good one. I use my own (pictured). My funnel is large enough to pour the water easily and yet still have space around the spout for the air to escape as the water fills. My process for preparing these perfect ice cubes is about 5 minutes. These things are great!!! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do. Cheers!

A fun purchase that you will enjoy...great value!
These ice balls are so good if you like your bourbon, or favorite drink cold with a splash of water...(the splash is from the Ice melting without drowning out the taste of your bourbon or favorite)...and it is part of my nightly cocktail experience. I read a few reviews that talked about the difficulty releasing the ice balls so I should tell you that it helps if you are smarter than an ice mold. Great product and I already know what I am getting for a few of my friends that are hard to figure out during the upcoming holidays.

Don't overfill and keep upright
These work very well once I figured out to use them since there are no instructions. There is a very small mark on the top of the container labeled "max". Do not fill above that line. If you do, there will be too much ice near the top and the lid will not come off. I didn't see it until my third time trying to make round ice balls. The other thing is my freezer has small ridges on the drawer and the balls of water will turn over in the freezer. Put them in a flat container so the four of them are snug together and will remail upright when in the freezer. When frozen, pull slowly on the edge of the top and bottom and the top will eventually pop off. Do not run water over the container to loosen the ice. I like to make several and put them in a zip lock bag. If the balls have melted at all, they will melt some more before getting frozen. The the puddles in the bag will melt together. Get the out of the container and into the freezer immediately.

No Leaking!
Excellent. I've tried other ice ball molds, and I always had trouble with them leaking. These simply do not leak. The balls are a good size (2.5"), and they melt slowly and don't break apart. I use filtered water to make the ice balls, and they are somewhat cloudy. Doesn't really bother me but if you're looking for "crystal clear" ice balls, I would try something else.

Great ice cube maker!
I got these on a whim and I couldn’t be more happy! They are perfect. No leaks, easy to open and take the ice out. If I would make one recommendation it would be to make a flat bottom so they can stand up straight. But other than that, no complains.

If you want clear ice, this is not the right item.
These work as described. Pretty easy to use in all aspects - easy to fill, freeze in reasonable amount of time, mold release was easy. You will end up with a cloudy, spherical ice cube with a ridge at the parting line. This may be fine for you, but read further if you want ”the perfect” ice sphere.Like most similar ice molds, these will result in cloudy ice - not clear. Further, I’ve found that the concentration of trapped air/gasses/impurities seem to be most concentrated at the parting line. This creates a strange phenomenon where melting of the sphere seems accelerated at the “equator”. In fact, I’ve even had cubes that melted into two hemispheres in a relatively short time.In conclusion, the price is reasonable and they work. If you don’t want perfect spheres, these are a good starting point for you. If you want perfect clear spheres, you should look at other more costly options.

No leaks and not easily spilled!
No spill design!!! I love these. I've had a couple of other ice ball makers and they were 1.) all connected together and 2.) spilled easily. These are individual molds and as long as you stand them upright in your freezer, they do not spill! Love these!

LOVE THEM!
I'm dinging them a star simply for the misleading advertisement in the pictures. These are not high end items, it will not produce a perfect spherical globe of ice; EVER! But I totally love them, they are amazing. There's the clear plastic top, and the rubber bottom along with the rubber snap tops. I notice by the many reviews and pictures that many don't know how to follow directions and aren't aware of kindergarten level physics. Folks, water expands when cooled. There is an actual transparent fill line (it's small raised line), if you don't go beyond that you won't risk the ball cracking/breaking. Because of the design the end result will have slight ridge where top and bottom meets, and a potential flat surface at the top of the ball. These work great for large drinks on a hot day. Put two or three on a large tumbler, ice will last longer and your drink stays cool. IT'S A GREAT PRODUCT!
