pricey, but it works!
I have been using Forta Flora for at least 2 years for my cock-a-poo's very sensitive stomach. Pricey, but really works.

HUGE improvement - my old dude acts so much younger and happier now.
This stuff has helped tremendously. My 14-year-old Peke/Tzu mix has IBS and gland issues. After a few weeks on this, his daily diarrhea went away almost entirely. Everything was still on the softer side, so to help out his glands, we added NV "No Scoot" powder. Combined, these two have made him run around like a puppy again. He is eating two to three times a day, where he used to skip meals for days from the gas, cramping, and swollen glands he had. We do still get them expressed but not nearly as often (it used to be once a week and they would tell me they were packed full, now it's closer to once every 6 weeks, and even then they say it's not too bad).He has gone from curling up in a ball and sleeping 22 hours a day to sleeping 18 hours a day, waking up to go sprint on walks and beg me for food and run around the house like the spaz he is. Yeah he still sleeps a lot, but at 14 that is normal. He's eating 2-3 times a day and has put on the 4 lbs he lost (which is a lot for a dog who's healthy weight is 18-20 lbs).I will continue to use this and the no scoot powder for the rest of his days, and I highly recommend giving it a try if your pup has similar issues (gas, bloating, diarrhea, random bouts of what we call "lava butt" where he needs to go out every 5 minutes to relieve himself, etc.).In case anyone is curious, yes he has some food allergies, so we keep him away from those things, which cause lava butt no matter what supplements he is on. But his issues occur no matter what he eats, even when we did the bland diet for a month to try and find out what his triggers were. He's been tested and confirmed as IBS with a side of food allergies with things like chicken. So these two supplements combined are a life saver... literally.

Can't live without it!
This is my first automatic litter box and I don't know how I lived without it before! I have a new kitten after about 2 years of being cat-less. I started mixing Fresh Step crystal litter (Walmart) in her regular litter box while I waited on the shipping of this product, once this product arrived my new kitten took to this box immediately. I removed the old box and put this one where the old had been and have had not had any problems. This is very quiet and my kitten does not seem disturbed by it at all. Since she is still so little I confine her to a bedroom while at work and this product's noise doesn't bother her at all. I did purchase the forever tray and just started using it yesterday, I used the carboard tray that came with this product until it was ready to be replaced. Not having a cat for so long I may be a little sensitive to the smell of poo, I felt that I started to smell it after two weeks of not doing anything to the box, I could've removed the 'smell' from the trap and I'm sure it would've been fine but I wanted to try out the new forever tray so I went ahead and replaced it. I feel that while this box may be an expensive alternative to actually scooping a box myself it has saved me so much time and hassle already that I'd highly recommend it! With the forever tray and buying crystal litter at Walmart I am saving money versus buying the replacement cardboard trays. I also think the forever tray will be saving my hardwood floors from possible damage if the cardboard were to have ever leaked. I did a lot of research and this seemed like the most reliable product out there. I did not get the hood but thought I should because I have a dog and was worried she'd get into the box but since everything is scooped away and there isn't a smell my dog hasn't even noticed the litter box.

I don't trust reviews that claim the product worked miracles.
A lot of five-star reviews sound like overstated hype, but in this case, I got lucky, and a miracle is what I got.The dog involved in this situation is a golden retriever, who has suffered badly from diarrhea which rapidly spins out of control to becoming bloody and requiring yet another trip to the vet. His diet has become more and more restricted until he was only allowed to eat carefully selected premium dog food, is kept away from rawhide, and can never be given treats. It makes me feel like an over-protective mom whose kid has a peanut allergy.Anyway, our vet suggested FortiFlora, and we figured it couldn't hurt. To my surprise, it cleared up the whole problem. It's been two months now, and we would normally have had several crises by now, so I'm confident things have changed, and that FortiFlora was the cause. In place of almost constant diarrhea, we now have a minor problem with constipation, but we're tinkering with the dosage, and I'm sure we'll eventually settle on a level. Right now, it seems that every other day is approximately ideal, but that may change over time, as the dog ages, and the underlying condition (whatever it is) changes. If FortiFlora proved to be a miracle, it was only the underlying problem happened to be the one addressed by it. Other dogs, whose digestive problems are caused by other disorders, may find it to be no help whatever. Here's the advice I'm certain of: if your dog has digestive problems, and you haven't tried FortiFlora, give it a whirl. You may get lucky, as we did.
