I never write reviews. Well, very rarely. I have been searching for a small camera to place outside my apartment door that pointed at my door and the surrounding hallway. I have ordered multiple cameras, only to have troubles connecting them to the Wi-Fi, or them working for a few minutes and stopping,... It was one issue after another with each little mini spy cam I seemed to purchase. I couldn't trust reviews anymore. I wanted wireless. Obviously if I live in an apartment building it's not going to be easy if it it's not wireless. But that seemed to be the only things that were left out there, that I hadn't tried. I ordered this camera and I thought it was wireless. I was wrong. But hold on. There's more to this story... First of all, connecting it to my Wi-Fi and working with the app was so super simple, I was worried something was wrong. Could it really be this easy?? After I disconnected it from the cord that charged it .... it stopped working. That's when I realized I had made a mistake and it needed to stay plugged in. Duh. The thing is is that it was so simple to get it up and running, seriously less than 5 minutes! And the picture was good! And it seemed to have a lot of flexibility so I could angle it just the way I wanted to. I looked at it and said you know what? I'm going to make this thing work for me. I am not sending a camera that is this easy to set up, back. I have a mini SCD card. I don't want to pay for cloud storage. I don't want to pay for anything extra The cord that comes with this little camera is basically flat so I had no trouble putting it through the top of my door without the door pinching the cord! It was pretty long.... But I did not have an outlet near the door so up up on a step ladder this old woman went, and I taped it along the ceiling line and then I chose a white extension cord so it would blend in with the wall in my living room. I made it look good. I am thrilled with this camera! I can now see who's knocking at my door... I can speak to them clearly through my two-way audio. I can see if somebody has left a package. I am disabled so getting up and down is not always easy for me... And I live alone so sometimes I'm not dressed for guests if you know what I mean lol. This whole review, It does nothing else, I want to make sure that it shows you the ease with which this camera was set up. So that, along with the fact that the picture quality was excellent, so *completely* outweighed the inconvenience of having to figure out how to connect it to the nearest outlet in my home.If you are a frustrated consumer like I was tried multiple cameras only to have to keep returning them and not getting what you want, please consider this one. One. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Super Easy Set Up!
Love this security camera! Set up was so easy and I'm not super tek savvy. App worked great. No fees or subscriptions unless you choose additional features beyond the necessities for it to function. Works with or without a micro SD card. No SIM card is required. I synced 4 cameras in different rooms to both my phone and my husband's phone. You can name the rooms to view on the app (ex: kitchen, office, etc.) and audio, and/or motion detection &/or notifications can be set as off or on. Some have noted in reviews that night vision does not work well when the camera is facing a window to view outside. I had the same problem, but then found the solution. Here's how to get night vision to work if you put the camera inside a window to view outside the home. This is how to enable night vision only if the camera is facing a window from inside your home, to view the outside of your home, not if the camera is just facing a room on the inside of home. After installing app, and getting cameras working in each room of your home:1. Click on camera room (ex: kitchen, etc.)2. Click the word Auto3. Click on Day ModeThis enables night vision when camera is viewing through a window.Do steps 1, 2, & 3 for each camera room, individually. If the camera is facing a window to view the outside of your house on Auto or Night Mode it will only reflect the window and doesn't show what the camera sees at night. Keep camera on Day Mode in this case, and night mode works!Note:If camera viewing is facing INSIDE the home, just keep the setting on Auto and the camera will adjust automatically to day and night viewing

Best money I’ve ever spent
The quality of this camera is fantastic! I use it for my son’s crib and you can adjust the motion detection area which is great because it has such a wide lens it catches people walking by. There’s no lag and I can see each breath he takes so I don’t need to get up every 5 minutes to make sure he’s ok. (Parents understand) the design is good it’s about the size of a small apple. I feel secure with this watching my babe. We did put an SD card in so we can save and play back. You can shut off movement too. My son moves a lot in his sleep but I sleep better somehow knowing if my phones going off that means he’s moving and ok. You can move the camera around once mounted to face different directions. It comes with a sticker that has the exact measurement of the mounting holes so you can’t mess it up! Best 15 bucks I’ve ever spent. I should have got the 4 pack but I was skeptical.

Satisfied so Far
I got these cameras to see who keeps trying to break into my house. I love that it comes with 4 cameras and the 2 way hearing and speaking feature is pretty cool. it's very responsive to all movements. The alarm feature is too sensitive as it sounds an alarm with any movement. The set up isn't direct. I had to read the reviews to figure out how to connect the cameras. You will need to get an SD card for each camera or buy the cloud subscription (per device) or you could always watch it 24/7. And they aren't wireless. Overall I am happy with this purchase. it's just unfortunate that I need it.
