Gym quality
Been struggling with getting started saw this system and was magnatized. I ordered it on Saturday with Free delivery expectations of Thursday it came the next day SUNDAY. I immediately set it up (just that simple). Because of the free weight set up it sways a little but good form and control will minimize sway. I only did 120lbs. The pull is fluid and after 100 reps. No hiccups. The handles seem a little flimsy but the pull down bar and rope are sturdy. The simplistic design makes it easy to use and safe. I already have recommended it. Go and get one!!!

Way better than I expected
I have a nice little gym in my basement that I use and take pride inI have had this little gym for two years, I like it quite a bitI'm 45 y/o, 5' 11" 270lbs and have built a few weight roomsI was trying to add some lat pull down and row capability to my little basement gym hereI have owned nice (Parabody) weight stack pulley towers bolted onto the back of power racksI have owned mid grade (Marcy) plate loaded pulley towers integrated into half racks tooI had never used a loading pin and pulley like this before.I was concerned about the loading pin swinging with the reps, and this being a safety issue in my little gym.I was considering a trolley system too, one that would ride up and down my rack upright. The loading pin and pulley from Amazon were much cheaper and would not take up space on my rack's front upright so I bought this system and tried it first.I also thought that if I liked this system I could expand it.I found the swing of the loading pin to be negligible, even when I position myself so that I end each rep without allowing the weights and pin to touch the ground.Swing is not a safety issue at all, at least not for me.The pulleys and cables and carabiners and two lengths of chain are top notch.I was surprised to find out that I like the lat pull down bar too, I expected it to be crap but I think it will have a home in my gym.I also like the individual handles and rope well enough to keep. The loading pin is fine and solid, I used it the first day, but I have replaced it with two matching all steel olympic ones. One thing I did not consider is how smooth the cable action is.Without a weight carriage running up and down a pipe or channel or whatever the only friction you experience is the cable running over the pulley and I can't feel that at all with these pulleys. It is the best cable pulley reps I have ever done in this regard.I used it the first day for lats and rows from my bench with a pulley hanging off of my rack's crossbar.Worked very well just like this.I added some 2x4s with eye hooks to my ceiling. They are centered on my rack. I left an open gap in the middle so I can still jump rope in front of my mirror. I posted a pic. They are painted black on the ceiling. Now I have perfect lat pulls, I can do crossovers, with a second moveable pull up bar on my rack I can place a pulley anywhere I want up or down for low row or mid row...I'm super stoked.I'd buy it again, and again, and again. I'll find the same pulleys and buy more of those for sure.

Good quality
Use mostly for tricep push downs. Kit works great FOR ME. Get for your specific needs. Flexible kit with several cable lengths and even a short chain.I simply used beam clamps for the pulleys…clamped to I-beam in basement.

Great if you’re cheap or broke!
A simple pulley system that’s pretty versatile for upper body workouts. Has obvious limitations like range of motion and getting it far enough away from you so it doesn’t hit you while sways back and forth.I’ve had trouble finding the inspiration on how to use it with leg workouts.Would recommend for anyone not able to afford the cable machines or just wants a low profile cable system for workouts.

smooth action
Update after couple of weeks. I use two pulley's over head. I do find at times the cable gets caught between the frame and the pulley. Then I have to take it down to fix. Note this does not happen in the middle of the rep. It happens only on set up. I will check my alignments. Leaving 5 starsI bought this set up to replace resistance bands which I had been using for years... one broke so I wanted to move on to something different. I just used this set up for the first time today. It was easy to set up as I already had an eye bolt in my rafters. The connections were easy. The action/movement is so very smooth.I used my kettle ball converter with a dumbel. Again the action was perfectly smooth.. Now I have to buy some look for some used plastes... I highly recommend this system
