Great way to reuse!
We had so many crayon stubs that I thought I would give this a try! Bakes at 275 F for about 10 minutes. I added some beeswax to fill the trays since we tried to keep the colors sorted. If you’re mixing all the colors I wouldn’t bother with doing that. Make sure they tray is filled up or they become a little flimsy and break. I didn’t bother washing them since I’ll not be using them for anything else, so I can’t speak about their wash-ability.

Works fine
These work fine, but they are a bit wobbly. The cavities on the edges slope a bit because there is no support, so melted crayon slides out of them. I think I will just not use the cavities on the edges next time.Everyone is complaining about them being flimsy, but I found that the flimsiness was helpful when peeling the mold off the crayons. Maybe if they were thicker/sturdier, it would be hard to pop the crayons out.

Melt the crayons first! Then pour them in the molds.
Melting crayons is not as easy as you think, but these molds work if you use them correctly. Don’t be like me, melt the crayons BEFORE you pour them into the molds. And then after you let them cool, no matter how much the brown mixture ones look like French toast sticks, DO NOT EAT THEM.

They’re ok…
These are more flimsy than I thought they would be and if I put a bigger crayon in the middle, it doesn’t melt easily. Also, my daughter was able to break the crayons I made pretty easily because they’re are kind of thin.

These are great for making crayons for young kids
My young kids love the crayons I am able to make with these. This shape is better for them since their small hands have a hard time holding the small crayons while learning to write and color. They can be a little hard to clean, but the molds were cheap and I love them.

Works pretty well
They work fine, nothing special. I put then on the toaster oven at 300f for 5-7 minutes and then leave it to cool down on its own. Great to reuse all the crayolas that my toddler breaks and its triangle shape allows him to improve his grip. Don't over fill and don't remove until completely cool or it will stick.
