I have heard great things about the brand and wanted to try but was nervous to buy a whole box in case I didn’t like. Love that a sample pack is offered and all flavors were outstanding.

Well sealed individually packaged dehydrated meat sticks/bars. A little hard to open, but not bad. Every stick is soft & easy to chew. The sticks I got expires in ~4 months. Also do note that the product image is a sample of what you may get; I received 3 chicken (2 different flavors), 2 venison, 2 beef, 1 pork, 2 bison. Here’s the ones I tried so far:Venison Sea Salt + Pepper:⦁ Oh God it’s salty (Sodium 33% Daily Value)⦁ Bits of crushed black pepper⦁ Strong pepper notes⦁ No gamey flavorUncured Bacon + Pork⦁ Very smoky - smoky taste lingers for a while⦁ Heavy reminder of hickory smoked ham⦁ A hint of sweetness at the very end⦁ Would pair nicely with a peated scotchBison Uncured Bacon + Cranberry⦁ Cranberry’s unexpectedly good in this stick - adds a pleasant burst of sweetness⦁ Oilier than the rest - in a good wayChicken BBQ Seasoned⦁ Also very salty (Sodium 28% Daily Value) - the salt’s overpowering⦁ Very lean - drier than the Venison⦁ Very faint hints of bbq⦁ Don’t taste any of the seasonings on the ingredients listBeef Uncured Bacon + Apple⦁ Don’t taste any apple⦁ Beef & pork - a solid comboI’ll snack on the rest throughout the weeks. So far the Bison+Bacon+Cranberry is my favorite, followed by the Uncured Bacon+Pork (I really like my smoky meats).I’d recommend you try it if you’re curious, but I don’t think I’ll buy it again any time soon. Yes it’s special - other than homemade jerky & gas station meat sticks, this’s my first rodeo with dehydrated meat bars of this variety. I do appreciate it being ecologically friendly & organically raised meat animals. But $3.70/stick is a steep price, as I wasn’t too blown away by the flavors n texture.

Too salty in my opinion

I'll admit, these tricked me, too. I was looking for something that wasn't just a handful of granola, pressed together with some sort of sugar syrup and crystallized. I'm diabetic, I can't eat that stuff safely anymore.These are dog food. That's not a comment on their flavor or texture. IT'S IN THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION. But it is the ONLY line that tells you what the hell it really is, and it's easy to miss, especially as it appears to be in the wrong grocery category.I'll freely admit that I want to sue somebody into next week. And yes, they're awful. Because they're DOG FOOD, and they barely make mention of it at all in the entry.Do not buy these unless you're getting fantastically expensive treats for your pet.

They just do not taste good to me or my husband. I know it's a matter of opinion, but this is mine and it's gross. My husband and I never agree on taste's of food, but we do these. I will say the Beef uncured bacon and apple was okay, but the rest were not good at all. I will not order again.

Love the taste and the assortment.
