Q: How much weight can it support? Can it support a 35lb chandelier? If not then can you suggest a canopy that can support 35lbs-40lbs

That depends on a bunch of things. Most canopies are supported by the ceiling mounted electrical box. 35 lbs is way too much and should be fastened directly to the ceiling framing or strapping.

I don't know what it's rated for, but I wouldn't trust it for anything over 5 lbs.

Q: How is cord secured and is it very secure?

The cord is secured via the plastic grommet in the center. The grommet has a recessed set screw that compresses the cord while routed through hole. I trust a load of 10lbs. Maybe 15lb. Not any more I used it to support patron tequila bottles with bottom cut off.

Q: What’s the inside diameter of the hole the light cord goes through?

Can’t be 100% sure because they’re already installed but I’d guess about 1/2”
