We all have strainers for kitchen use. And I never think about needing a mesh strainer until I'm straining food like pasta. Had enough and went searching on Amazon. AND a big plus is that I have a double sink and this strainer is not only big in size but has extensions to fit the sides of the sink (nothing worse than having the strainer sit on the bottom of the sink). Rinse with with water and toss in the sink strainer. Awesome!

I love this colander and would not choose another! Its so easy to use and keeps the noodles out of the sink. I use if to wash all sorts of food as well as drain cans. The handle length being adjustable is perfect for any size sink. It's more than large enough for a pound of noodles or a large container of blueberries. Very sturdy and made form good quality materials.

It’s large and does the job; fits over the sink well. I knocked off a star because there are sharp edges under the lip. Washes up well, dishwasher is no problem.

This is great because you can place it in the sink and the sides extend to the counter so you don’t have to hold it while straining hot food
