Bright, fun, no worries about battery because it's USB. Exceptional quality with sturdy 3-filament string, and pearl LEDs that don't glare, they have zero ability to act like "lasers" because they're encased in milky drops of... idk what, maybe epoxy?Many instruction manuals have promised, but none have delivered, until now. You can press a color, like pink, then press a function, like strobe. And the strobe function will apply, while it's pink. Or fill, where the leds light randomly until the whole thing lights up, and then they turn off and start over. You can modify this with a speed and dimmer setting.Most multicolor or 16 color sets will do the colors. But they don't add dynamic things in each color, like chase and twinkle upon request. There are also holiday settings, plus red/green, red/white, and if you want red/white/green, you can get it from slowing down the strobe function and choosing red/green. It will flash, but not painfully and you'll get all three colors. Only thing missing is Mardi Gras purple/orange/green. What a small complaint though since two sets would get you that (halloween + green).You can get gold/warm white but it's likely to look a bit orange or yellow on this string. The white is cool white.The white color flickers if you choose fade mode and any color scheme that includes white. Only the white ones flicker though. Maybe that will be fixed in a future release. It's easy enough to avoid.The timer seemed to misfire on first try. The "in waves" setting stopped, and the color went back to steady and stayed there. The red LED indicating the timer was on, was lit. Yet the string didn't turn off. I'll have to try again.

It can get tangled if you're not careful and that can be quite frustrating, but otherwise its great!

So far these lights are great. I love the color options and they give off more light than they appear to in photos, but they’re not too bright to sleep with. I love the yellow option, it’s good for if you love warm soft lighting and don’t want a harsh white light. It makes my bedroom very cozy. The only issue with lights like these is they all tend to stop working eventually. We’ll see how much life I get out of these!

Great colors and movement options, very bright though and cannot be dimmed

The media could not be loaded. I ordered these lights for my Valentine's tree. I already had a few strands of lights on my little tree but they are battery operated and naturally 3 sets of lights with 3 AA batteries on can get pricey in the battery department! I clearly didn't read the description very well. These are USB lights. Meaning they plug into a USB port to work. I was a little sad at that because I wasn't planning on plugging in lights or an extension cord since there isn't an outlet close by where I wanted to use them. Then I discovered I could plug them into a battery pack! 😲 What a surprise that was! After decorating the tree with the lights and my tiny Valentine's Day "ornaments" (jewelry pendants) I opened the remote to give it a try. These lights are BRIGHT! and the options are AMAZING! I knew there were a lot of options for lights but I hadn't realized just how many options! Plus there's a timer with three different times you can use (4 hrs, 6 hours or 8 hours)! The strand of 100 lights was a lot of lights for my little 2 foot tree but I used the rest of the lights to light up my LOVE sign hanging on the wall and still had enough to drape down into my red roses in the vase. I played with all the settings to try them out and finally settled on one setting for Valentine's Day. On the remote with just one button I can set for Easter lights, another button let's me set Halloween another Christmas and another for red white and blue lights! I'm ordering more strands because I can think of so many other uses for these lights!

Very sweet and pretty! My granddaughter loves these and so do I!
