I wanted to use these to plug my wired air pods into my Ipad. They were a waste of money because they did’t work. I tried all three and heard nothing. I no longer drive and can’t return them to get a credit. Very unhappy!I retract the above. They work just fine, I just missed the fact that they weren’t suppose to work with audio and audio connection was what I was after.

I have a iPhone 15 in a house with older iphones, so there are a lot of lightning cables around. These adapters are solid and work great for charging, but my one disappointment is that they do not work in the car for Apple Carplay. I've tried them on lightning cables in two different cars and my phone will not connect. It does charge fine though.

This adapter does allow charging a USB-C iPad or iPhone, but only using a Lightning cable with USB-A at the charger end. It does not work using a Lightning cable with USB-C at the charger end (as mentioned rather unclearly in the product description).The behavior is exactly the same with a Pixel 7. So there is no significant difference between iPad/iPhone and Android compatibility (contrary to the product description).(The underlying issue is that this adapter is just a dumb wiring passthrough, and does not provide the circuitry needed for a USB-C charger to operate correctly. USB-A chargers work without this circuitry.)Bottom line: if your Lightning cable has a rectangular USB-A connector at the other end, this adapter will let it charge a USB-C device (at USB-A speed, of course), whether it's Apple or Android.

I bought these adapters after upgrading my wife to the iPhone 16E. She used to go through Lightning cables quickly and still had a ton of them lying around, so instead of throwing them out, I decided to give these adapters a try—and they work great!The fit is snug and secure, with no loose connections or interruptions while charging. I was worried that charge time might be affected, but honestly, I haven’t noticed any difference. Her phone charges just as fast as it did before.These adapters saved us from wasting perfectly good cables, and they’re a much cheaper alternative to replacing everything with USB-C cables. If you’ve got a stash of Lightning cables and don’t want to replace them all, this is the perfect solution. Highly recommend!

Works well to charge won’t charge fast. Will not be able to use CarPlay but good for temporary supply before I switch all my cables out. Also helps out car trips. Easy to use again does not work with CarPlay.

Before buying, you really need to read the seller’s disclaimers. There are certain situations where it appears it doesn’t work. I’ve been using it for an iPhone 15 max+ connecting to a CarPlay system and it works great. Also have been using it with all my old charging cords that are lightning on one end and the old USB on the other end. I do like the aluminum case it’s not flimsy plastic that gets cracked with use. I was worried that the fit would not be there, but it’s very snug and tight as far as the lightning cable fitting into the female end of this adapter, and it snug fitting into the phone. Going to buy a few more sets for the zillions of lightning cables that I have everywhere.

They do the job.

These adapters were okay for the price—cheap and functional. They worked fine for a bit, but they tend to fall apart and break fairly easily, so they don’t hold up well with frequent use. If you’re looking for something temporary or just a quick fix, they’re okay, but if you need a durable, long-term adapter, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
