I initially got it for safety of our kids I have it set up and my kids play with it but get scared when it beeps crazy haha love the finger print feature!Make sure you do multiple prints of same finger in different position for emergency situations!

The safe works as advertised. It holds my FN 545MRD and a spare magazine solidly in place. The thumbprint scanner works without issue and the customer support is responsive. If your looking for an inexpensive safe to keep a handgun handy i would recommend it.

If you are looking for a safe, secure way to place your handgun, and in case a situation arises where you need quick access to your gun and magazine this safe is it. It's awesome! I have this gun safe mounted on a side table next to our bed. It's a quick access to your handgun and fingers that I had registered to this gun safe works great every time I try it. The number code works well too. What I like the most is when you activate the safe with your finger or number code this unit opens quickly and quietly slides straight out. Easy access to your gun quickly and most importantly QUIETLY! You will not regret this purchase. Also like the registering process. Customer service looks to be easy access even though I have no need to reach them at this time I feel it will be easy to connect with them if you do.

Built well, easy installation, easy to program, fast opening, smooth operation of door. Although rubber insert that hold gun is nice material it grips a full size gun with light a bit too tight if you want to remove it fast.
