Well well well... Brock Marx was definitely unexpected. Throughout the whole Stanton series he was my least favourite secondary character. Boy did he change my mind. He’s officially my FAVOURITE character of the series.The stupidly hot guy on the cover helped entice me into reading Brock’s story, that and the fact that TL Swan’s other books have all been so enjoyable. This one doesn’t change that opinion, that’s for sure. TL Swan can most definitely write a swoon worthy Alpha.Brock is the least romantic, most stubborn and definitely the most feckin’ hot Alpha I have ever read in Swan’s books!!🔥 In true Swan fashion however, he is a complete alpha-hole!!! Tully, the female lead in this book, is witty and strong willed and the love between the characters is strong!!As with the other books, Swan perfectly drops in other characters and little snippets into their life, providing satisfying and much needed updates of those who we’ve loved in the previous books. You also get some new secondary characters, and they’re bloody fantastic. Watch out for Meredith - she’s the character I never knew I needed in a book. Just love her!The heat in this book is no joke. Cold showers may be needed 😂🔥 it is HOT HOT HOT!!!!!!As well as all this, the actual story line is incredible! You know it all links and you wait for the details that click into place throughout. You need to be alert and really paying attention as there’s a lot going on, but with the characters being so god damn hot and steamy I’m not sure how you’d not be lying attention anyway 😂There are some potential triggers for some people which should be noted, Brock is quite controlling and extremely dominating so know your tastes. But if like me you love a controlling dominating alpha male lead, then READ THIS NOW!!!!This book has made it onto my list of favourites that I need a physical copy of. Brock belongs on my top shelf now that he’s etched his way into my heart 😍❤️ well done TL Swan, well done!!

I was dying to read this story of Brock and Tully, and it didn’t disappoint me. It was a fantastic story of the two of them coming together plus all the extra bits that was in the story. They made a brilliant couple. The story was romantic, heartbreaking, emotional and full of suspense. Thumbs up to T.L. Swan on another fantastic book.

I enjoyed this book more than I expected. There was a definite shift from other books by this author of not being quite so vanilla. I would have given 5 but God I found the fmc a pain in the neck. Her decision making, inability to see what was right in front of her, recognise ASD traits consistently and never-ending crying!

When I start any of T L Swan’s books I always feel this one can’t be as good as the last or even better. I love the way previously mentioned characters have a mention and are woven into the fabric of the novel. We have a smidge of Joshua, Cameron, Adrian, the humour or Bridget who is heavily pregnant and married to Ben, who appears quite a bit. We have Natasha and Josh’s children making an appearance and so making it essential to read all the other stories by this talented author. Brock has been mentioned in previous books too, and this is his story. He is an investigator now , employing Ben his brother in law and long time friend. He also uses him as a counsellor and advisor to his involvement and love of Tully. A girl Brick met in a gym . The story unfolds and it would be incredibly wrong of me to spoil it for the would be reader, but it is beautifully written. Full of romantic scenes, that are tender and also angry. Brick has only ever had hook ups and really doesn’t know how to have a relationship. Tully has just had a break after a 9 year relationship with a childhood sweetheart. The story is full of humour, possible tragedy, drama and most definitely intrigue. Meredith is a very unusual character, and her special personality is described delightfully. It is also filled with a who is doing it theme, that keeps you on your toes. Will they get caught and who is involved?. At the end we are told a longer epilogue will be written in the future, and I for one will wait patiently until it is, but in the meantime will enjoy re-reading this delightful series, and any others this phenomenal author may write.

I’m new to reading your books, have read 3 so far and am now absolutely addicted, can’t put your books down. I darent pick it up in the morning otherwise nothing will get done all day until I’ve finished it. So refreshing , am now about to start another one.

This story had my feelings all over th place. You can know your enjoying the story especially when the characters made you angry and ready to throttle Brock and Tully and then they go make you laugh by doing something stupid. Brock is an aggressive lover with a temper when somebody messes with his head, Tully is a passive women who as only had one boyfriend so is quite nave, boy did she have a surprise with Brock. Brock plays by his own rules so when he falls he falls hard. And then there is multiple murders that Brock and his friends are trying to solve. This a book well worth reading, it is well written a bit of a thriller with a romantic twist, the characters were interesting,strong and romantic.

Good story and I loved the characters. However, as I read more of these books, it becomes more and more frustrating to see so many typos, inconsistencies and narrative that doesn’t make sense!

Loved reading this book her books are so addictive I've read them all now lol cant wait for her to write another I have withdrawal symptoms lol fab author such an emotional rollercoaster with every read highly recommended to all
