Brillant!
Amazing! very study and holds the phone tight when driving. so easy to install or take off just a twist of a clip. automatic charging which is so handy to have just plop the phone in and it moves the clamps itself to hold your phone and as soon as you turn your car off it releases the clamps. highly recommend

It does the job with perfection
Excellent product so well made. The vent fixing with its metal hook clamping design is solid even on some of the poorest road surfaces. Auto phone mount and clamp plus wireless charging with touch control to dismount completes the perfection of this product.

Not too bad, but not great after time and few small issues
This started really well! Make sure you have the normal thin vents otherwise it won’t fit e.g won’t fit in my van vents but does my car. Fits really nice in my car and is sturdy while travelling. Chargers phone no issue except it always pushes my volume down button which is annoying but not the end of the world. All in all I would have bought it again. Also seems to need a proper power source (cigarette lighter), maybe just my van/car but in the built in USB ports it never works properly.Except now, 9 months after purchase it unfortunately doesn’t work anymore, the flaps that hold the side of your phone is stuck closed and it’s now unusable unfortunately or I would have rated it fairly higherEDIT: After this review, the company kindly offered me a new product free of charge. They have been nothing but a pleasure to deal with. Very happy how they have reacted to this

Incapable of consistent charge.
The media could not be loaded. EDIT: The following review was written while using a pixel 6 pro which at the time had a bug in the "pixel stand" application which was the root cause of this issue. Deleting the app restored xharging ability. Though other wireless chargers at the time still worked OK, even with the bug.As a phone holder, this works fairly well. Applying the unit is a straightforward process, though the fastener that tightens the clamp mechanism leaves a pretty bad sting in your fingers because of the force required to secure the unit. Once secured, the only way its falling off is if your dashboard falls apart, they did a really good job on making sure the unit stays attached. The same can be said for the ball-joint that allows you to position your phone to point in various directions: once tightened, it isn't moving. You can also slacken the ball joint a little so you can reposition the face's direction as you please, and it still retains position while driving. Impressive stuff. The motorised clamp that holds the phone on the face-plate of the unit is also a strong point. I've never had my phone fall out on even the bumpiest of drives. nice touch to have the release button on either side of the device. The problem with this device, like many of it's type, is the actual charging technology itself. while the product page on amazon states compatibility for various devices across multiple brands, it fails to function with mine. My Google Pixel 6 pro randomly cuts in and out of charging while on this pad, even though it should be supported and my device does work on other wireless chargers without issue. This is also while being plugged into a QC3.0 charger.other than that it makes a decent but expensive phone folder, so that will have to do. I just hope this company does more testing when deciding what phones are actually supported, or do better quality control if mine is defective. If I were buying this again, I'd make sure it charges consistently and at the correct speed (some apps can measure this) then if it behaves weirdly, return and look elsewhere. weird charging behaviour like this could damage your phone battery, so best be careful. Generally though, just be cautious when buying kit like this, as the results always vary, and its not worth throwing caution to the wind and ruining your phone.

Aukly car phone holder and charger.
Very pleased, holds my I phone securely and it is easy to remove. Seems to be well made. All in all a good buy.

Not flimsy!
Does what it says, in spades. Only downside is it can run hot in summer and prevent charging. Having it on or in front of an air vent keeps it chilled and working.

Charging Speed
The product overall good but the charging speed seems very slow . Not really happy

A well built and well designed phone holder
Having never had vent mountings work in the past for robustly holding my iPhone, I have always opted for windscreen mounted versions but then the suffer from the suns direct heat and so the suction fails and the whole lot comes crashing down leaving a very sticky residue on the windscreen which is difficult to remove. And so, having read the reviews of the Auckly supplied vent-mounted holder, I decided to take the plunge and I am glad that I did.Fixing the base to the vent is simplicity itself as there is a threaded wing-nut to open and close the jaws so you can ensure that it is securely in place before adding the mount to the base.It works very well in that there is sufficient freedom to ensure that the driver can see navigation instructions etc. and the view through the windscreen is also better and now, having driven quite a few miles since installing, I'm happy that everything is still secure and as I would wish. Not knowing whether the vent-clip solution would work for me, I ordered the variant that also contained a suction-cup base as well as a 12vDC charger. When it arrived, I could not see the vent clip and so thought that they had sent me the suction-cup alone version. But I was wrong as the packaging is misleading. When you open the box, the suction-cup base is on the left and the phone-holder is on the right sitting on a thick bed of foam to protect the socket on the back of the holder. You have to remove the foam to find another chamber below which holds the vent-clamp, the 12VDC charger and the cable. Not knowing this at the time of receipt, I contacted Auckly and they said that they would send out any missing items without question. I then found the missing parts and let Auckly know together with the perhaps cheeky request for a second vent-clip to be able to mount the phone on either side of the car - this they agreed to do and it's on the way without further charge - so I'm truly Impressed with the quality and speed of Auckly support. In closing, Auckly have provided me with a 60-month warranty (the QR code was in the box) to give me total peace of mind in selecting this product.
