It has like a white wax inside. Haven’t had issues with it breaking down. But have had issues with oils seeping into the cardboard.

Good for environment..

Was looking for a eco friendly deodorant container so I tried these out. In my opinion a bit pricey for the quality. The outside cardboard can easily be stained with oils or damaged with water. Might try plastic instead.
