Okay…. Please read before buying or applying it. I have naturally fair skin and don’t want to sit in the sun to tan as I’ve been more conscious about sun damage. I bought this stuff as well as the Cerave body moisturizer because my skin has been super dry and I also planned to mix the products. It took some trial and error but I figured out a solution. After I shower/shave/ and exfoliate well (I just use the Tree Hut brand) I will apply about a dime sized amount of this lotion with some of my cerave lotion and rub it between my hands to mix and blend it and then I put it on my arms/legs/body and blend it well with my hands. I then take my eco tools tanning mitt on top and blend it even more using that until my skin feels “dry” or like I’m not blending it in anymore. I go gentle on my knees and elbows since those areas tend to be drier. I also used the Cerave lotion BEFORE to moisture all of my skin- then I go in with the tanning lotion and Cerave lotion mix and apply it. I then let it sit for the recommended 15 minutes BEFORE putting anny clothing on and I usually just go to sleep with it on. WASH YOUR HANDS after you use the mitt. This will prevent them from staining. I use a small buffing brush I got from target or I’ll use the eco tools tanning brush also from target to blend my hands and feet well so they’re at-least not pale white. For my face I mix the tanologist face drops with my night moisturizer- only a few drops and then use my hands to blend it well- don’t forget your neck- and to blend it up into your hairline so there’s no line. Apply the tanning lotion to your whole body including shoulders and neck/ the back of your neck- everywhere and BLENDDD with your hands and use the mitt after to smooth the product even more then I use the tanning brush by eco tools to blend my face/hands/ and feet after I used my hands to get most of it blended and put on. You can build this tan up gradually and it doesn’t make me look orange and with the routine above it has worked well for me. I did get streaks the first time I used it but I did not blend it with the Cerave lotion using my hands. Make sure the 2 products are well combined by rubbing it through your hands before applying it. Best self tanner I’ve ever used. I got the shade light/medium because I’m new to tanning and also wanted it to look more natural on me. Pictures are the day after I used this product.

Here’s a tip with this product. I have used self tanners for years especially in the winter time. I like just enough that I don’t have to wear foundation. The main two that I use are Clinique & L’Oréal. Since I have a fair complexion I always use light to medium. So now on to this product. First of all the tube is huge so you get a lot for your money. This tanner however does not give you an instant glow which that’s okay. It probably takes about 20 to 30 minutes before you see any results but here’s the kicker with this product it continues to tan! So a little goes a long long way. I found that out the hard way. I looked like I had been on the beach for a whole week but I washed my face with soap a couple of times and it came off. And let me say this a little goes a long way but the product is very dry so u have to put it on right after you moisturize your skin. I know this review was long but I wanted people to understand how this works & not to get discouraged. All in all I give it a “10”. It’s not orangey just a sun kissed glow. 💖💖💖

My skin is quite pale and I used the fair to medium. It works well and gave my legs a nice golden color that looks natural. It is not orangey nor streaky. I used about a size of a marshmallow on each leg. You can start to see a difference in a few hours. A second application the second day gave my legs even more golden color but it was not dark. The only thing I didn’t like was the sweet smell. But other than that, I was quite pleased with the result. Would recommend.

I really thought that I would like this product but it showed all of my sun damage spots and made them appear very dark. What I did like was that there is absolutely no transfer to sheets or clothing. Also, it cannot be remove but has to wear off and as it wears off it leaves very patchy areas of differing colors. I returned it.

I love this product. It works really well. I only use it about twice a week and my tan lasts really nicely. I typically just use my hands (no gloves or brush) to apply and never experience any streaking. I also love that the ingredients are clean. I have sensitive skin and this product has never clogged my pores or given me issues. I’ve used plenty of self tanners and this is the only one that doesn’t make me orange. The color looks so natural and beautiful. Highly recommend!

I got the medium to dark and it goes on like white lotion and you can see it blend in well. I use a large kubuki brush. The drying time is more like 45 minutes. It leaves a warm tan glow. I have tried several of the top rated, and this beats all. It lasts several days, does not rub off on your clothes. Wearing white is not a problem with this tanner.

I bought this tanner because Jergen's that I've used for years was no longer making the 3 days to glow tanner and the other reviews were positive. I am very pleased with the natural ingredients and the tan from just one application was amazing. The scent was pleasant too and I don't smell like corn chips a few hours later like with other tanners, I'm glad I was forced look for another product and found Beauty By Earth.

My skin is tan not orange! There isn’t much of a fragrance which I appreciate. I massaged it on and then used a brush to make sure every inch was covered. I applied it for a second time 3 days later and am very happy with the color. I did exfoliate prior to applying the lotion which I feel is a must.
