Better than I expected for the price
I bought this expecting I would only need a wheelchair for a week or two so I wasn't looking for top quality. It's been two months and my wife is still not on her feet, so we've been using it daily. It's so much easier to manage than a 'big-wheel' chair. The frame is made to flex, so although the wheels are smaller, this chair rolls over uneven ground much easier than the big-wheel chair we had borrowed. It's really rugged and sturdy and the hand brakes make it much safer to negotiate hills. We have a small lake in the neighborhood with some steep hills on the footpath and a section of dirt path. This takes it in stride. It also folds into a package small enought to fit behind the seats of a Prius Prime with the footpads attached, so it's a breeze to transport. I would recommend it to anyone considering a transport wheelchair.

Great Chair - happy with purchase
Bought this chair to cart my 89 year old relative around when they visited. Feels sturdy. Easy assembly. Not too heavy. Easy to fold. Comfortable for passenger. We rode on gravel, mud, sidewalks, downhill and uphill and didn’t have any problems. I’d highly recommend it and alot less expensive than a wheelchair.

This Wheelchair ended up being a Travel Godsend
My wife broke her foot three weeks before we were to go on a vacation in Europe. We decided that we were going to go, and we knew we were going to need a travel wheelchair. We ended up buying this one, and we found it extremely affordable. We weren’t sure if it would hold up at this price point, but we got it anyway. It ultimately was a godsend for our trip and held up great. This wheelchair made it through two international flights (we gate-checked it both ways and it was never damaged). We used it in six European cities (with transport that included trains, taxis, and rental cars). It traversed old stone streets (although it was hard to push over cobblestones), as well as non-paved paths. The little peddle things on the back helped to lift the chair for curbs and bumps. It is indeed lightweight (19 lbs), and everything folds. This wheelchair really saw it all and we were thrilled it stayed intact. We have kept this wheelchair and will lend in to friends and relatives who might need it.We highly recommend this chair, but keep in mind these tips below if you travel with this chair (or to just consider if you get it):Remember the push handles fold down. That was very helpful for taxi trunks;Purchase at least two Velcro straps. You’ll need them to secure the wheelchair when it’s folded (especially if it’s going on a plane).Take a small bag with you to store the removable footpads (we detached them, put them in an adidas bag, and took them on the plane when the chair was gate-checked).You’ll need a cushion if someone sits in the chair for a long time. I-Drive sells a pad which is fine, but it’s too heavy and bulky for travel. We ended up buying a chair cushion from wal-mart and that was light and did the trick for travel. The hand-brakes are attached to the push handles. If you push the handles down, it locks the wheels (I did not see that info on any instructions/manuals, and only learned that the wheels locked when an airport staffer told us).We would definitely but this chair again. For the price, we found it to be a good value.

Good price, sturdy, and very handy for our use, but not for everyone. See below for details.
My 82 year wife has dementia and is unsteady on her feet. Although she can walk with a cane, I wanted to get something that was easy to pack in the car and suitable for getting to Drs. appointments, or for a short stroll around the neighborhood. This chair is good for those purposes.Pros:1. Relatively lightweight and easy to fold and stow in back of SUV.2. Easy to fold for storage. Doesn't take up much floor space when folded.3. Quite sturdy. That said, there are also some limitations.1. The 12", solid wheels are OK for short hauls. But for long hauls it can be a bit tiring. So for long hauls, get a chair with larger wheels (preferably with pneumatic tires).2. The hand grips that I use for pushing it are pretty hard. I ordered some softer grips. Hopefully that will help.OVERALL: GOOD FOR OUR USE.

Essential for mobility while traveling! - Sturdy, Portable, Lightweight, Foldable
A few months have passed since we received this item. In that time we have used it extensively while traveling. It has become essential to us with my partner's mobility. We have used it in airports, train stations, and busses while traveling wide and far. It folds up perfectly for in-plane, in-bus, in-train, and in-taxi. It has held up perfectly. Recently on an extended trip to Asia we put it to the test that no transport should every have to go through. It delivered perfectly! No issues. This was a great buy for mobility while traveling.

Great product
Best transport chair I found. I've been the live-in caregiver for my mother for over 11 years and have gone through several chairs. This is the best chair I ever had. The brakes on the handles ( like a rollator/walker ) really come in handy when moving up and down ramps. Easy to fold and put in car. Quality of seat and back ( padded ) is better than any I ever found. The larger back wheels make it much easier to push and tilt.

Unboxing / First impression
The transport chair shipped and arrived with 48 hours. The box was in good shape but when opened, I saw that there was no Styrofoam packing to protect the chair while in transport. It is wrapped in plastic. It had some minor scrapes from shipping. There really was no assembly required with the exception of putting the foot rests on and they easily pop into place. I can see where people complain about the back part staying in place. It took me a few tries to get it to snap into place. I am very skeptical about it staying in place. The plastic parts feel flimsy and my initial impression is they may easily break. The size is good, I'm 5'5 and 220 lbs and I felt pretty comfortable in it (it's for Mom who is much smaller). The brakes seem to function well and being able to lock them is reassuring. The blue color is really nice!I will update more after a few uses.
