Right stuff, right price, quick delivery
Other supplier kept sending my mom wrong formula. She was very frustrated. Her Amazon needs low fat for his health per the vet, and they recommend this food. I ordered this for her bird from Amazon and it came quickly and was the right formula.

These pellets are probably not the most palatable - maybe because they are low fat.
I love that there is a low-fat option. Plenty of birds end up having liver problems due to eating too much people food. This seems to be a great product, but it may take a while for your bird to get used to it. Probably mixing it with other food to begin with until they get used to it might work. I don’t know that there are any other low fat choices out there. The quality seems to be above average. I think it’s a good value for the money and a good choice for low-fat options.

Vet recommended
This is not what I was had been feeding my African Grey or Cockatoo, but my vet recommended this as a much healthier diet than the pellets I had been feeding. I thought it would be difficult to change them over to Roudybush, since the appearance was so different and it didn't have a fruity aroma. But the first time I put some in with their other food, both of them ate this first. Now I no longer give the other food, they preferred this healthier food!

Expensive, but good nutrition
We've used Rowdybush pellets since weaning off of the liquid diet. Our birds actually prefer it to the point that they ignore seeds, nuts & fresh foods completely. My biggest frustration is how the price swings wildly on Amazon depending on which size pellet you use. Being a simple extruded pellet food, whether from pet stores OR directly from Rowdybush the price per ounce is identical for ALL pellet sizes. But on Amazon I've seen a 300% swing between the small pellets & the medium! It gets VERY frustrating to see two sizes at under $3.50 lb and then see medium at over $10 lb for the same size bags! I will say that the price is most affordable with the 10 lb bags & larger.FYI: They don't go bad from the bag being open but they DO sometimes infest your house with the small flour moths. This risk comes with any grain product, but outting the bag into a freezer for a few days before you open it helps cut the chances down that you'll get any hatching...

Awfull due to storage and shipping
1) This is a good quality product for my parrot, but do not buy it from Amazon. Never Again.2) I usually buy this product from Drs. Foster and Smith. This product arrived in good condition and was fresh. But since this company is no longer available (Petco) bought it. No good. So I resorted to buying it from Amazon.3) The pellets were in terrible condition. They were not just crushed into pieces, but had been turned to powder. When I poured it into my pet's food bowl there were a few pellets ( and I mean few) and all this powder. I had never seen anything like this. So I thought that the powder had just settled on the bottom of the bag. Not!!!!! It was all over. I attempted to pour the pellets into a strainer. This was a mess of powder. The entire bag was full of powder. I ended up with about 2 full cups of powder to discard, leaving approx 4 cups of pellets left from a 44 oz bag.4) I bought this in Feb 2019 and it has an expiration date of Nov 2, 2020. That is pretty good.5) At the Amazon storage facility this product must have been banged around in an unbelievable fashion. Bottom line is DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT FROM AMAZON!!!!!!
