EXACTLY as advertised and looks better than a sock filled with kitty litter. Haven’t seen it turn pink yet.

My car is older and lets in moisture during the rainy season. These are a total game changer! I placed all 4 in my car and my windows are so much clearer. They dry out in the microwave (or just sat outside on a dry sunny day) and are good to go for use again. They don’t smell weird or bleed out moisture as they sit either.

My old car had an issue with too much moisture getting in to the point where it would drip from the windshield when I turned on the defrost in the mornings. I bought this little packet because I wanted to be able to reuse it. I tossed it on my dash at night and the next morning I had zero issues with moisture. I even moved it to my back windshield and it still kept the moisture off of the front one. It's powerful enough that you only need one for a small car as long as you don't have puddles.When I reheat it, I do it in 3 minute intervals as I've read that leaving it in there for 6 can actually damage it even though the instructions say to do that. During the wet Seattle winter I only had to recharge it once every two weeks. I've had it for about 7 months and the indicator won't quite get blue anymore when I heat it but for the price, I'll probably order another one for the winter. I would've had to spend way more on disposable products like damp rid to get the same results.Overall, it works great for small spaces with moisture intrusion issues within reason. I wouldn't recommend this for a space that is constantly being blasted with moisture like a bathroom because it will probably wear out a lot faster.

I recently tried out a dehumidifying pack and while it somewhat worked, I have mixed feelings about it.On the positive side, the pack did manage to reduce the humidity level to some extent. Additionally, the pack was easy to use - I simply placed it in my car and left it to do its job.However, I did notice that the pack didn't work as well as I had hoped.

I followed the directions properly. Yet somehow I still a manged to have one explode in my hand when I was walking it out to the car. The directions state to microwave it, so I did. Now I have a partial thickness burn to my left (dominate) hand. And had to try to keep 4 dogs from eating the beads that exploded everywhere.

They work great!
