Enhanced Matte Paper 8.5In x 11In 250 Sheets

This paper is great for printing photographs (I use several Epson Printers). It is inexpensive as photo papers go. It provides deep rich blacks, delicate grays and whites, and rich appropriately saturated colors.

I have used this paper for over 5 years and I absolutely LOVE it!!! The pictures I print on it are exceptional because of the paper and a good printer (Epson). I will continue to buy this paper until I stop printing :-).

Update 7/16/14: I re-ordered after getting the wrong item from another Amazon-fulfilled vendor a few weeks ago. This time the order was from Roberts Camera, fulfilled by Amazon, and I received the correct item (five, 50-sheet packs of 8.5x11 paper in a large Epson box). The description for this listing says "Enhanced Matte Paper" which is Epson's old name for what is pictured (photo matches what I received), "Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte". (Epson's product naming is as confusing as it can be, but that's another review.) I'm raising my rating to 4 stars for a decent quality, fairly affordable inkjet photo paper which I've used for years now. The 250-sheet box from Epson in 8.5x11 size contains five separately-wrapped, 50-sheet packs inside. I paid 57 bucks here for the 250-sheet package, but received only a single, 50-sheet pack that had been taken from the larger box (there is no Epson label on it, it was not in a box, etc. just a sticker like a store uses for inventory on the plastic wrapper, showing "250 Sheet pack Epson Enhanced Matte"). I don't know if this is the fault of K&M Camera (the vendor for this item) or Amazon as this was "fulfilled by Amazon" for K&M, but in any case you can buy a 50-pack of paper like this for around 14 bucks elsewhere and normally would save a bit by purchasing 250 sheets in one pack. Fortunately Amazon has a good return policy, also paying for shipping on items that are not what is represented in their listing. Back it goes.Yep I know this may be seen as a review of the seller, not the item per se, sorry about that. I don't think people normally click through to the vendor for "fulfilled by Amazon" as we have a level of trust with Amazon shipping items correctly, so customers wouldn't likely see this problem before ordering and I'm trying to save someone a headache here. Epson Enhanced Matte (now called Ultra Premium Presentation Matte as shown in the product description here as of this date) is a basic, heavyweight paper I use for proofing and some print sales. It is a decent, economical inkjet paper, assuming you get the quantity you order. I'll order somewhere else for now.

I like matte paper and have used Epson for years. Interestingly enough, the initial cost is less than luster.

Epson paper is exceptional, and i wouldn't use any other for my photographs on my Epson printer. Buying in bulk is very economical as well

it's okay. i thought it would be thicker paper -- so i could make prints for sale -- but it turned out to be not that much thicker than printing paper. i know there was some renaming things going on and a different matte paper, i guess, so maybe I got the wrong kind.

This is the same as Ultra Premium Presentation Matte Paper and should be listed as such so you can find it in Amazon's kluttzy search function.
