I love these shades. I have them all throughout our house. They are very reasonable and durable If you want blackout these do not give that.

Overall, I really like the style, color and design of these bamboo shades. They feel durable and the size is accurate, it was a perfect fit for my needs. Material wise, the shade is made from quality bamboo. I also like the idea of no cords. It gives it a much more clean look; very versatile. They also do a nice job at blocking light. Not blackout by any means , but a nice way to darken any room.The reason I removed one star is for the extremely cheap screws I got. Without applying much pressure, the head of 3 different screws snapped off when I was just trying to install the hardware. I ended up using some spare screws I had laying around, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. Other than the screws, everything else about the shades I love. And I definitely recommend getting some if you’re on the fence.

These blinds are really nice!

I got this hoping to keep heat and light out of a living room with an eastern facing window that blows up with sun during sunrise and it’s in Florida where it’s very hot. This does block heat.. and it keeps the room dark, so great functionality there. You can see the square of light through the blinds - that’s why I say it’s not black out or anything. That being said, the ease of install on this, the quality of the materials, and keeping the heat and most light out - I give it 5 stars and I want more of them. If you are like me and hanging blinds yourself - these are about as easy as you can get.
