Bought this as a gift for my daughter to read to her daughters. They loved it.

Wonderful book for grandparents to share with grand children.

It follows the children's walk with grandma as they discover plants, animals, and other winter sights. The text does not shy away from using accurate identification such as deciduous tree, big concept words like hibernate or migrate, and has many great description words such as fluffy, bare, prickly, and floppy. The illustrations are mostly lightly drawn outlines with a few fully detailed and colored items that almost pop off the page emphasizing their connection to the text.

Beautiful! A book I love reading with my children with fun winter activities in the back. I love books that I can read and my children and I are still talking about later!

This is a beautiful book that truly captures the magic of winter. It is educational and entertaining. Wonderful!
