What an absolutely great piece of remote control technology at a rediculously low price.This is the second one I've fit, and this time adapted to work with the exclusive connectors of the Westinghouse ceiling fans which came as a manual pull on/off and 3-speed sequencial pull selector . You'll see in the enc. pictures how simple this was. You just require a bit of Dexterity and the sundries.Set the fan manually on for light, and on the highest speed setting for fan (using remote instead). Then cut off pull cords.You also have the luxury of 1, 2, 4 and 8hr timers. Pushing one will allow fan and or light to automatically turn off after the selected duration. Spot on too.

Would have kept this as it was 3 times cheaper then the brand that was recommended for my fan. Returned it thinking it was wrong one. However, a little know how on electrical connections and patience can save you considerable money as all these remotes are all based on same mechanism as i found out when i got the more expensive one.Its just that I got the expensive thinking it was only suited to my fan. Believe me its NOT. Don't be fooled. This remote is just as good as the ridiculously high cost ones.

This controller was purchased to replace one whose remote control had been lost. The control fitted perfectly in the space allocated and worked exactly as it should. The small cost of this unit was well worth paying as it prevented the scrapping of a £500 fan.

Easy to install, great price for the item, could do with a dimmer button.

Purchased this item a year ago. Was too big to fit inside the fan unit so was installed in the ceiling void. Worked perfectly until a few months ago. Now getting a feedback beep from the unit when the remote buttons are pressed but fan or light does nothing. Disappointed as it was very good for a short time.

I will not fit this fan remote control kit. The reason being that I have no confidence in its compliance. There are no proper instructions provided. The wires do not comply with UK standard colour coding. The small wiring diagram sticker on the back of the receiver is unclear and uses very poor English, probably translated from Chinese.Mistake buying this. It’s headed for the rubbish bin.

Easy to install but if not sure get an electrician to fit it, nice little remote holder too.

Avoid this controller, only worked for 3 days then blow the electrics and stopped working! Waste of money.

En primer lugar destacar que funcionan genial. Y no es muy complicada la instalacion electrica. La única pega, y supongo que dependerá del ventilador de cada uno, es que el tamaño es muy ajustado para el hueco disponible. Los dos que he instalado, he tenido que quitarles parte de la carcasa superior de plástico para que pudiesen entrar en el hueco del que dispone el ventilador.
