I'm under the impression they are an all natural candle using pure essential oils, pure beeswax, and pure cotton (no lead) wicks. I love these candles and the salted caramel scent is the best. Buy Newer Candles Than This

Little to no scent. I believe this "model" is a few years old, so maybe it sat on the shelf too long. This is the only Root candle to disappoint me.
