Mandragore by Annick Goutal for Men and Women Scented Candle 5.8 oz. New in Box

As I have bought Annick Goutal products and candles before, in my opinion this is not a genuine AG candle. First warning sign: there was absolutely no scent to the candle--it smelled like a lump of wax. I was baffled, because AG candles are intensely fragrant, the moment you open the box. I thought that perhaps I needed to light the candle to release the fragrance--no difference. Second warning sign: the wax immediately started to well because the wick was extremely thin (in high end candles, the wick is proportional to the diameter of the candle, and there is little or no welling.) No scent even when the candle was lit for a while--I mean none at all. As I say, in my opinion, this is not a genuine AG candle. I cannot return it, because I have lit the candle already. I will never buy from this seller again! Very disappointed.
