Really nice knife but didn't realise how difficult it is to find blades.
It's a really nice knife with a safety lid that clips on well between uses. I find the grip really comfortable and the knife easy to use.I think I may be a little heavy handed though as the tips seem to blunt a lot quicker than I expected.I was surprised to see I couldn't easily order replacement blades to fit but I've bought some X-Acto No 11 Fine Point Blades as suggested in another review and they look like they might fit nicely.

The only hobby knife worth the description
Of all the hobby knives I have used this one is robust and holds the blade securely when applying pressure. I have tried an abundance of hobby knives for the purpose of marquetry but found most of them break or snap after a very short period of time. I apply a fair amount of pressure for cutting wood veneers, but cannot understand why so many knives sold for marquetry just break up, even ones apparently recommended for the craft. This one has had the dignity to remain in one piece - so I have only ever had to buy one! That has to be a recommendation! Certainly, if you are into marquetry, don't bother with anything else, whatever you pay for it.

Great knife, Shame you cant find the blades.
Not a bid little hobby knife. it came with a few blades but not enough. I the blades it comes with are propriety and it is difficult to find. however I purchased "Steel Blades No. 11" and they work just fine with it.The knife feels great in the hand and easy to cut with. The balance of the knife is great. I do recommend it but just go for the cheep blades.

Perfect EDC hobby knife
The addition of a lid to the hobby knife is the best invention since sliced bread, gone are the days of slicing your toolbag/fingers apart when looking for your knife. The hobby knife also has two types of grip rubber at the bottom and actual knurling in the middle of the shaft which allows you to cut a lot more accurately, I would say the only thing they could do to improve this would be to add a child lock to the lid and then this would be the ultimate hobby knife.

Great value
Great value for money. Wasn't expecting it to be that sharp having read some reviews but I was using it to cut fondant and it cut through my mat so it's definitely very sharp haha.

Scalpel
Loved this scalpel, i use it all the time for my art course work. The knife is comfortable to hold and grip as it sits nicely in your hand, also it still works perfectly for lefties like me.The only problem i had with this was because i use it so much, i constantly break or flatten the blades and i'm yet to find somewhere that stocks them.
