Great for the price
This was less than half the dealers price. It took about an hour to install but so far it’s working great.

Severely under powered motor
I have a 2007 Escalade with powered running boards. Passenger side motor went out. Tried to go the cheap route with after market motor. Note: my running boards are free from binding and well lubricated.I tried two of these the second one was a replacement for the first one. They both would bolt to the vehicle Ok. They were just severely under powered. They would lower the running board. But could not lift the running board with out using your foot to assist. I tried another after market motor from some one else. It would not even bolt to the vehicle. Finally paid the high price and bought a GM OEM motor. All is right again. Running board lifts and lowers flawlessly. Cost me nearly three times as much.😐

Didn't work
Shaft went a full inch or more past the end of the hinge step. Got it on after much work and ti worked for two rotations (before tightening all the bolts. When I got it all tightened down, it would not raise the step. The step went down but would not rise without me putting pressure under step as it tried to rise during the cycle. This is what the old one did. I bought another with the hinge-step already attached and it was easier to install and has worked spotlessly.... Go for the more expensive option rather than one.

Exactly what I needed! And saved a lot of money purchasing a quality product & my husband installing! Prefect for for my passages side running board on my 2010 Cadillac Escalade!

Factory Power Running boards
The new part took some time to install. (I do not do this for a living and had never Removed and replaced one before) The motor preformed as advertised. I also needed to lubricate the running board hinge points ( I used Purple Extreme bike chain lube) so it would stop binding up. I think the lack of proper maintenance is what caused the first motor to burn out.

doesn't fit 2007 gmc yukon
the bar that brings in the step is about an inch longer than factory and the eyelet spot that is supposed to lock into place will not line up.

Doesn’t last
Only lasted for just over three months would not recommend or buy again! Goes to show that you get what you pay for!
