Book is not written in coherent English
I wanted to use this book for help with Red Cross lifeguard certification. The book is published by the Educational Testing Group, whoever they are. Not the Educational Testing Service. There’s no Library of Congress registration. The English in the book is quite often agrammatical and difficult to readily understand. Idiosyncratic and wonky. Also, some of the answers to the test questions appear either incorrect or ambiguous. A few of the sample test questions refer to the Boy Scouts and Boy Scout camps. Nothing to do with the Red Cross program. This book is not very useful. It may be a translation, and a poor one at that. Best just to read the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Manual and do their online course and test.

Not accurate!
There are wrong answers in the answer key.

Tons of typos and wrong answers in key.
I was really disappointed to find that the publisher didn’t take the time to correct the vast amount of grammatical errors. Some of the answers in the key are actually wrong. We purchased this book to help our son study for the written test and we are more confused than confident at this point.I will be returning, as the practice online tests seem to be more accurate and easier to understand.I don’t know why this book was published to be honest.
