Electric Charcoal fire Starter for Big Green Egg & Kamado Model EFS-Z

Does the job. Heats quickly. Had difficulty finding one locally with this curved design. Pleased with the operation and performance thus far.

I was very impressed with it it got my green egg cooker going quite quickly would recommend highly to anybody else it is bent for the perfect shape of the egg cooker

I ordered this as a replacement for my previous starter, which was Green Egg Brand that I had for 5 years. This starter worked only twice. It may have simply been defaultly, but I will not recommend it. I discarded the box and have no way to be reimbursed. Think before you order this starter I am buying the Green Egg Brand from a local dealer...lesson learned

Awesome charcoal starter, 4 to 5 minutes the coals glow, unplug, let them start themselves. No "fire" like on lighter fluid, so are "fire safe" when used proper. Works good as a coal spreader, let cool, ashes wash off in cold water.Try it you will not go back to lighter fluid.

The size and shape of this charcoal lighter is excellent for my small Green Egg. Sits on the bottom of the burn chamber and let's me pour charcoal right on top. Gets hot quickly and does a good job of getting things going g without any chemical fire starters.

Works great … literally get the fire going in the whole green egg not just spots

The guard melts after two uses but it keeps starting fires.

This is a 110v device and doesn't come with a UK plug.Putting 240v through something that gets hot is going to be a bad idea.
