100W Ultra Bright MyraBec Cordless Rechargeable LED Floodlight, 2 Brightness Levels, for Contractors, Industrial Job Site & Large Areas

This is for the FL4010 model. Surprisingly well built; takes just seconds to put together, and gives good light. I picked this lamp since it specified two batteries; I hoped that meant that they were just pop-in batteries that I could replace in a few years when they quit taking a charge; they are not, but MyraBec very quickly answered my query, providing info on the batteries, and they even included pictures showing the batteries inside the lamp. They are not "user replaceable" like sticking in a couple of new AA's, but they are commercially available batteries, and could certainly be replaced by a user who was willing to. I'm happy enough with this lamp (and MyraBec) that I will probably buy another, larger model for other uses.

Very nice light plus easy to grab if you need to run out & chase off the raccoons at night. Yep, another use for this light. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the on & off switch which seems to be a bit difficult to deal with, well for me. It has a plastic protector on it which is great, but does hamper the use a bit. It is a rocker type switch, so you have to hunt around a bit to find it. The seller is wonderful. Ours came with a damaged adapter, so he sent a replacement out to us right away. It does not take long to charge & just a great size that you can keep handy. Was amazed at how well this light can light up a huge area.

I am a huge fan of this product but they don't last very long. I have purchased four of these 50W floodlights for my company over the past two years and we use them everyday. This product used to be sold under the title "8 Hours Bright" and they used to work for 6+ hours on a full charge. We tested the most recent floodlight we received 4 months ago this morning and it worked on the low setting for 1 hour and 50 minutes after charging for a full 24 hours. Two of our four lights are completely dead. These lights are very well built but the batteries lose capacity and die far too quickly. I hope the manufacturer will improve the quality of the battery. I would be happy to return our dead lights if it would help the manufacturer research and correct the problems. Our lights are mounted on a rolling cart so we are confident that haven't been dropped or handled roughly.

There is no way this thing is as bright as it is rated. I have several LED flashlights, this puts out ~ the same amount of light as my 1000 lumen rated fenix flashlight. I also have a 4000 lumen flashlight to compare this to, and it doesn't even come close to that output. Other than not being bright, it worked as described.

We love this really bright light, and it arrived at the perfect time. We have been doing little projects in our backyard and the light transformed the yard to daylight. The best part of the light is that it is cordless and portable.

Their advertisement touts it as the equivalent of a 200W halogen bulb. It actually appears to have the brightness of a 60-75W standard incandescent bulb As for the ACTUAL power consumed, it measures a little over 10W. So what is the 50W reference (other than dishonest hype)?

This is an excellent light providing the right kind of light in the dark. I placed it over my grill outside so I can actually see the food I'm cooking. It's also useful in my storage shed. It's got a very bright light and is easy to recharge and use.

This is great light, does not get hot like Halogen light so you can set it anywhere. At full power lasts about four hours, so not too long. But the benefits for work in house with no cord and not getting hot makes it a good buy.Would be good for camping if you had way to recharge every so often.
