Diamond G CalroseRice 15lb

This is my favorite type/brand of rice (also Hinode Calrose), ever since spending a good part of my life in the islands of Hawai'i. All other rice just doesn't compare. I'm so glad Amazon had it available.

One of the best sticky rice I've tried. Easy to make in the rice cooker, just make sure you rinse it like any other rice you cook and it turns out great. I have never gotten/ seen any bugs and I have gotten multiples of these with multiple sizes and the 15 lb one is perfect for me being the best value for my moneh.

A friend of mine told me this brand has less arsenic than other brands.

I started using this rice while we lived in Hawaii and could not find it locally. I did find it online. We love the rice. Cooks up great every time. I always cook it the old-fashioned way, on the stovetop. I do not use a rice cooker. My only suggestion is that it would have been great if I could have purchased 5# bags, not a 15# bag. I had to repackage it and put in the freezer for future use. Overall, this is GREAT rice!!!

Being raised in the 50th state, cal rose rice is a staple for me, but it is not easy to find here. A local grocer offers one brand but doesn’t consider it important enough to keep in stock. Although this is slightly a bit more costly, I am still glad I found it available on amazon. This brand is a familiar one and so far the quality seems the same.

Usually buy this rice from Sam's Club but they stop carrying this brand. Was nice to see that it was on Amazon. wish they had the bigger 25lb bag but 15lbs is good as i need to cut my rice intake anyways. Rice grain is of good quality. Cook well in pot or rice cooker. Texture is nice, a medium texture and not a long grain rice.Would buy again as it is delivery. Wish it was on Amazon prime 2 hour delivery. But its OK.

Although it’s a little expensive, the rice is actually of good kind (speaking from a culture that is hugely rice and noodles 😂) and I also like it because it does not smell bad unlike some brands sold in supermarkets. I really like the product, would definitely buy again if I had the chance. I only tried this because rice are always sold out in brick-and-mortar supermarkets during the pandemic. This would be nice to have on occasions

Used to buy Calrose rice at the supermarket but they stopped carrying 3 lB and 10 lB bags and 1 pound was just too small. Then I tried the 5 lB bag from Botan which was very good but in April they tripled the price so I looked for an alternative.The Diamond G Calrose rice is as good as any fancy brand but at a fair price. I am sticking with it.
