What fresh hell is this!?!
So... recently was scheduled to sit 2 days back to back, 6-7 hrs each day, for a large side piece. Ribs, waist, hips, shoulder, back, neck. Ya I know! But my artist moved out if state so I had to plan a whole trip to go get this done in one shot! So I researched numbing gels, sprays, etc. And this came up as supposedly a good option for when the skin was broken and the numbing gel started to wear off. Just spritz this on the tattoo in progress.....What Satan's minions wrote those articles and why!?! And... Who's idea was it to put alcohol in a numbing spray meant to go on open wounds!?!But I, not having read that yet, went ahead and sprayed down my brutalized ribs and hips, during a break after the first 3 hrs on day one, and tried to ride out the sting and think happy thoughts like "oh this will only sting for a min... Right? RIGHT!?!" But OH no! It did not just last for a min. And I had to quickly slap on some Uber numb (absolutely a must have and the best out of what I tried during this mega session) to stop the now intense burning coming from my ribs, and the violent swearing I heard coming from some sorry sop in the room. Oh wait... That was me.Alcohol in a numbing spray for open wounds guys??? Who hurt you!?!? LolI also had your cream which works OK. Not worth another try but it was a bit of a help in the hell scape that was this recent tattoo experience. Lol

Works well.
Works great. Easy to aim and spray. The fluid might be a little thin, meaning it will run so you will need a tissue so it doesn't run all over, so if it were a bit thicker it might stay in place, but then it might be harder to spray.

Solid numbing spray
Great lidocaine spray have used for piercings, tattoos, big bites, etc it works well and is decent priced. Doesn’t last a very long time probably around 30-45 mins but takes the edge off.

The only product i will buy for tattooing!
First i have to say I am covered with tattoos and have been in pain for every single one of them. Nothing has numbed it, ever....until I used this. I literally could not feel ANYTHING. Spraying on unbroken skin does provide numbness of a tolerable level (for the lining of the tattoo), the pain isnt gone entirely-feels like scratching pain only. Be sure to apply to entire area getting the tattoo for at least 30 min prior to start. The real miracle comes when its sprayed on the area that just was lined. Once on the skin, you get a burning sensations for <30 seconds and then your COMPLETELY NUMB almost immediately! After 3 hours of use, reapplying in areas getting the work done, then during the final shading period I FELT NOTHING. No pain whatsoever (except in areas that werent pre-treated prior to start of tattoo). I had a large tattoo on my shoulder which is a very painful area. Also, the tattoo was almost completely healed in 5 days, barely any flaking, barely any reddness after the first 48 hours. I will be using this product going forward every single time for tattooing and maybe even on areas that I wouldnt due to the pain level. The pictures show the day of the tattoo, then 5 days later.
