My hairdresser recommended a curling iron with a larger dimension to give me the softer curls I wanted, and this one does do that. However, it gets dangerously hot at all by the lowest settings and because of the design, it's easy to accidentally increase the heat settings as you're using it. At the higher settings, it burns any skin that it grazes. It's large and heavy too, so it's hard to avoid getting it too near your skin on your ears or cheeks or forehead. The tip may be "anti-scalding," but the barrel gets just as hot and it's not.

This is a very good quality hair curling tools. I purchased for my wife and she loves it. based on her review she finds this product very good quality, designed very well for daily use and easy to handle it. it comes with user manual. it came in a well protected box. she does not want to trow that away to keep the item in it after she uses. If you need want I strongly recommend it.

I have only had the curling iron for a week, but it is working well so far. I have color treated hair and so far I don't see damage.I like that once you set your temp that it remembers it when you turn it back on again. It did take me a minute to figure out how to turn it off (long press of the button), but that is what allows it to remember the setting.

Very nice curling iron. Only 1 thing that's slight odd - when it's heating up the light is red, when it's hot the light turns blue.

I have very straight hair and thought it was unable to hold a curl. Usually my hair would lose the curl within an hour or two, leaving a chunky hairsprayed mess. With this product, my hair holds the curl all day and more-or-less the next day as well, and only requires a light misting of flexible hairspray. This is probably because it has several heat settings and most cheap curlers do not heat as hot as this one does. I use the highest setting (410 °F), set it with flexible hold hairspray and it works great. I now curl my hair all the time, at least once a week. Overall great product though at a good price, would absolutely recommend.

Easy to use. I used it to cord hair for my daughter and this is my first time. it comes with different temperature setting so you can changed to how hot is need. if I can do it, you can. And the price is good enough.
