I just ordered a pair of your knee sleeves from Amazon. I’m 56 and started squatting again because my son is power lifting like I used to years ago and I have started entering contests with him for support. I have never had knee problems before (because I have been extremely careful with them over the years) but have been thinking I better use something to assist my knees during squats and running. I have bought several of your products over the past few months (because of the reviews) and am pleased with them all. Thank you for providing these products for lifters both young and old. I have been systematically lifting at least 5 days a week since I got my first weight set when I was 14............I got the knee wraps today and I tried them out tonight along with my previously purchased Dark Iron bar pad, belt, and wrist wraps and loved them. I am up to a 300 lb + bench, 400 lb + squat, and 500 lb dead lift once again at 190 lbs. If you would have told me a year ago I could do this after all of my aces, pains, and yes even a stroke two years ago, I would have called you a liar. Praise the Lord in all things. Amen

I took a gun training course that was 7 hours of standing, walking, and kneeling on rocky dirt. My knees took a beating and I could not participate in all the exercises due to an old injury to my right knee. I enrolled into the same class a few weeks later and I knew I needed something to help me get through it. I found these Dark Iron knee pads/brace. They held up great to all the kneeling, and bending that I had to do. I was even able to get through the exercises that I could not do the first time around. When I got home, I also realized that my legs and knees where not as tired and sore as they had been before I used these braces. I can’t say how well these braces will work in six months or a year of constant use but after having worn them once for approximately 9 hours straight I can say that I am extremely happy.

I have bought a pair of gloves for working out and a belt from Dark Iron. Both products are of excellent quality. I needed a new pair of knee sleeves so I decided to buy the ones by Dark Iron. Again, the quality did not disappoint. Nice design and excellent craftsmanship.The reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the problem I found with the velcro used to hold the straps. The knee sleeve has two straps, one on top and one at the bottom. They are long as they have to go around your leg. In terms of design I think it is a really a good idea. The problem is that the velcro at the end of the straps loves the material the sleeve is made out of. It just sticks to it real hard and when you try to detach it, the velcro "chews" the material. So you might envision what the sleeve will look like if this happens repeatedly over time.My strategy now is to roll the end of the straps where the velcro is onto itself. The velcro attaches to the strap and in this way there is less of chance for the velcro to attach itself to the rest of the material. You just have to be careful when you do it because any miscalculation will end up with the velcro sticking to the sleeve again.The problem I described is a minor one since the knee sleeves work really well providing that extra protection when you lift heavy. I highly recommend this product

I have been struggling with squats and deadlifts lately because of bad knees, and the compression sleeves I have purchased up to know have all fallen short of what I need, because they either lack support in the right places, or they bunch up behind the knee and begin to hurt and irritate that area after a few sets. Enter Dark Iron Fitness with knee sleeves to end all knee sleeves!! I couldn’t have designed these better myself!! They offer structural support running along the sides of the patella, with a donut padding directly over the knee cap. There are straps on the tops and bottoms of the sleeves, which helps keep everything in place. And best of all, the material is light and thin, and I don’t notice any bunching behind the knees, or any irritation or pain after a full leg workout. Take it from a big guy with bad knees, these sleeves are a MUST HAVE for anyone that knee-ds the extra support (see what I did there?). Thanks again Dark Iron Fitness, you guys rock at making products that work and just make sense.

My knees can get so banged up during luges and burpees, so I was in the market for a sleeve that would help cushion and prevent bruises and scrapes. These work perfectly! The adjustable strap comes in super handy and allows you to control the tightness for when you need added support during lifts. I also love the extra length on these - some knees sleeves that I tried on were quite short in length and rode up when doing exercises. These knee sleeves from Dark Iron stay put and are easy to get on/off. I recently bruised my knees pretty bad on a backpacking trip and used these sleeves at the gym and was able to put pressure on my knees without winching in pain.I purchased the wrist wraps and was impressed by the quality and craftsmanship which is why I went with Dark Iron for the knee sleeves as well.
