Just like old times
I bought this album to replace an old one whose magnetic pages have lost their "magnetism." I think they just dried out from being so old. The album is well made, just like the old one it is replacing. The magnetic pages, because they're new, work really well. I just wish it had more pages. Now I have to buy "refill" pages to finish moving photos.

Happy purchase
After 50 years the old family album needed to be replaced. This was a great replacement. Lift the film and place the pictures in and voila. Good design.

Here's What I Really Think About This Album…
This Pioneer photo album is a solid pick for keeping your memories organized. The magnetic pages hold photos securely, and the 3-ring design makes it easy to add or rearrange pages. The navy blue cover gives it a classic look, and it's great for various photo sizes. Perfect for preserving those special moments!

Very Suitable For Archiving Photos
I needed albums to organize all the accumulated boxes of family photos. There are many different sizes so the pocket style wasn't a good choice. Trying to organize large quantities of photos means a lot of sorting and you always need to adjust where they belong after putting them in albums. These albums make adjustments very easy since they are 3 ring binders you can move pages around. People ask "how many photos per page?" Each page is 8"x10" but with the rings the width is effectively 7 3/4". Photos that are 4"x6" maybe 2 per page with space for notes under each, 3 - 4 per page with overlapping. I have a few 3"x8" landscapes. These had to fit in between the rings so only 2 per page. If I turn them sideways, then 3. I wanted these albums to go in standard bookshelves so this reduces capacity per page a bit. Each page is a sturdy rigid tacky coated pasteboard with a clear film overlay. Peel it back, lay out the photos however you like and smooth the overlay back down over the photos. The pages are white. The overlay is kind of like saran wrap but thick enough to be easy to handle. If you get any wrinkles its easy to lift up and lay it back down smooth. When I first started working with the film I was worried it would tear... I've had no problem. I'd suggest being thoughtful about keeping any dirt or stray hairs off the tacky pages while the film is pulled back since removing them would be difficult. You can pry up photos and move if desired. There are refills available but at this time, Oct 2020, buying another album with 50 pages was more economical. I wanted to store albums in bookcases without them twisting or flopping over. These are a good size to fit shelves and even full of photos are reasonably stable.People often ask about if there's a place to write or put labels. I wouldn't try to write directly on the tacky coating but you are free to arrange the photos to leave space where you can attach any notes you want to make. That's why I like this style of album pages where you're free to arrange everything exactly how you want. The film plus tacky hold let's you put cards, ticket stubs, programs, certificates, etc. as well as photos. The 3 ring style let's you add pocket storage if desired. Any exterior labeling can be done using standard binder products. The overall strength of the albums is decent. I doubt they'd hold up with a lot of constant use but for storage and the price I am very pleased with this purchase. They look nice on the shelves. I bought the dark navy blue and the gold trim makes them rather elegant.I've had this type of album in years past and recently removed pictures from some that were 30+ years old. The pictures remained undamaged. Per the seller these are acid free.

Handle with care
I like the page size and that pages can be added but if you add pages the the area that covers the spine of the album is not long enough. I carefully added thin cardboard to the edges which are hidden when slid inside album cover. Album quality is very good but one complaint is it moves around some vs an album like a 3 ring binder….needs handled more gently.
