Dockem Luxe iPhone X/XS Wallet Case: Slim Minimalist Case w/ 2 Credit Card Holder Slots: UltraGrip Canvas Style Synthetic Leather (Green and Grey)

Updated Review 8/2019I've now had the case about 9 months. For a $15 case, it has been amazing and has taken everything Ive thrown at it, and Im back to order my 2nd one. I re-read my original review and have a few updates.1) When new, I started with my DL (flat) behind the phone tucked away inside the case, and 2 flat cards (MilID & Debit) in the 2 outer pockets. These pockets stretch with time and patience (and a little forcing lol). I currently have 2 raised numbered cards (debit) in the bottom pocket, 3 raised numbered cards (credit) in the top pocket, and now have my DL and secondary ID (both flat) and sometimes a $10 behind the phone inside the case :) It holds them all and I feel secure with it as is, so far nothing has even offered to fall out and the case stays on. I just added a card here and a card there over time, as the pockets began to loosen up some. However, the corners of the case do pull away just a tad from the bottom corners of the phone (prob due to 2 cards that are hidden inside between case and phone). This did not happen even after adding more and more cards to the case until just the last month or so. So there was a good 8 months of carrying 7 cards in this case (mix of flat ID type, and raised number credit/debit type) before the case finally said 'enough already'). Oh, and sometimes I fold a 10 or 20 behind the case with the IDs lol.2) I do not have a screen protector on my X. Not sure why, I just didn't do one this time. With that said, this phone and case have been dropped many times, and even over stuffed with cards, and bottom just starting to pull away from phone, its survived every fall without a scratch or ding.3) Only 1 thing I would mention to the mfg, is to raise the lip around the glass portion just a tad more. Its barely above flush now. I often lay my phone down screen side down/card side up, and afraid I will scratch the glass at some point. Hasn't happened yet (9mo), but its always a concern. Yes, I could put a screen protector on, just don't like them.With that said - For $15, the case lasted 9 months, with 4x the amount of cards the mfg suggests it holds, Id say Im pretty happy with my purchase.Your experience may vary, but this is my honest thoughts/experiences on the case after 9months use :)Original Review 10/2018I place my drivers license inside the case (between the phone and the felt lining on the inside of case so its completely hidden if that makes sense) because I rarely ever have to pull it out for anything, so it was a way to free up space for other things in the 2 slots. I then place a backup debit card in one slot, and my work ID in the 2nd slot. Thats literally all I need. Everywhere in my area accepts Apple Pay (except Walmart) so 90% of the time I use my Apple Pay. The other 10% of the time I have a backup debit card with me, and my DL i haven't shown to anyone in years, so its just hidden inside the case. I have it if I need it, but its not taking up a precious space in a 2 slot case.The case itself has a nice feeling in my hand, has just enough of a grit to it, it doesn't feel slippery, but doesn't give me problems removing it from pockets etc. You could "maybe" fit 2 cards in one slot, but not 2 cards in both slots. Both my debit card, and work ID are flat (no raised printing or numbers) and they fit perfect. With just the 2 slots, it really keeps your phone slim and not bulky like some wallet cases get (folios!)While rating and reviewing its asking me to give stars based on Durability, Giftable, and Comfort. Im rating it 5-star for both comfort and gift ability, but I cannot rate durability as Ive only had it about 2 weeks. So far I would guess it to be fine, but I'll update after 6 months (or sooner if needed) on how its holding up. Its a $15 case. I don't expect it to last for years, but I do expect it to hold up at least 6 months of daily use.

This is my first wallet case and I really love it on my iPhone X. It wears very well too meaning you can handle it with abuse and it can stand it. I've spilled countless things on it, and pulled it out of my pocket without any issues and my cards don't go flying out either.For the record I have 4 cards in my wallet case when it's really only build for 3.. AND I can include a $20 too.. So it does give some room but not a lot..

Very responsive and responsible seller. Right after i dropped the review, i got an email that they are shipping a new one as they feel that my product is defective. Tried it on, and its defijitely better now. The case looks decent on the phone but evidently lacks protection. The buttons dont click well either. As for cards, one card is fine. Two makes it too tight. I would treat this as a cosmetic case rather than a protective or a utility case. Bumping my rating to 3 instead of 1.Original Review:Terrible product, photos are deceiving! The product was damaged and I couldn't even put it on my phone. I need a refund or a replacement!

Great case. I usually drop my phone once a week and maybe another 2 times if I decide to go out drinking. I’ve dropped it on concrete all the time and my phone still hasn’t shattered.It’s very comfortable and keeps the phone looking/feeling thin. I’ve used it in the hot tub and it would dry up within 2 hours - color hasn’t faded yet and I’ve had it since early summer.I usually use 2 cards max, but there are times where I would use 3-4. It does slightly stretch it out, but it doesn’t get “flappy” if that makes sense. The pocket remains tight against the back of the phone.

I wish they had a 10 star option. One of the volume bottoms fell off my original case and I posted a review about it a couple of days later received a new case from Dockem in the mail...and below are excerpts from the email I sent them which not only details the quality, functionality and design of this case but the exceptional customer service offered by this comoany!! If you are looking for a phone case this is definitely the one you want and the company you want to buy from!! I LOVE everything about this case. It is beyond my expectations in quality, protects my phone perfectly and my DL, bank card and access badge for work fit in the two slots perfectly AND having two slots is crucial for me so I don’t have to worry about accidentally deactivating my access badge or bank card by them touching one another. I get a lot of compliments on how “sleek and professional” my phone case looks! I do as I said very much LOVE the case and your above and beyond customer service makes me love it even more! It’s not easy to find a case that is completely functional for my cards, looks sharp, is not bulky yet totally protects my screen-I drop my often and do not worry because the case protects it so well. I love this phone case. I collect phones and cases. I’ve owned all the iPhones up to and including the xs. I am picky about cases and protection. This case has a lip around the front just enough to protect the screen if you have a fall.The material reminds me of a “coated” canvas type. It’s very nice and easy to keep clean. Not slippery and looks fantastic. I actually have the maroon and gray one as well.I use the card holder for 3 cards and none of them have stretched.

Decent lay on table front protection. They added metal buttons on the outside of the case which is nice but they don’t go all the way through to the phone buttons, the inner canvas material just presses the button. Like a embossed cutout with a metal piece glued on the outside of the case. But seems to work. Canvas material and color two tone is nice, card slots are nice. Seem very much a professional business type minimalist case. It seems two levels of quality above its price range but no more than $20 but not quite up to Apples leather or silicone cases. I’ll update as time goes on if something changes.

I got this case specifically because I needed to carry around a credit card that was not compatible with Apple Pay, previously I slotted that card between the back of the phone and the old silicone case which wasn't the best soltion.The case has a 'plasticised material' or wax material feel to it, it is quite unusual.The construction quality feels good though, it certainly holds 1 credit card well and I've been using it for about 1 month and so far no real wear can be seen.I'm not a massive fan of the 2-tone design but it does seem a good case for the money, so I would recommend it, time will tell if it stays on 1 piece, I would hope to get a good 6 months use out of a ~£10 non-Apple case before it goes too scruffy or starts falling apart.

Pro's:-nice grip-good looking (in my eyes anyways.-protects your camera-decent protection overall for the phone covers all sides really well.Con's- kinda difficult to push volume and power button, like medium hard if that makes sense.- i would not in anyways tap contactless areas with 2 contactless cards, for example, i have both my oyster and cc in there, i tried it in the tube once in london with the oyster on top and visa behind even the second card. It would cause confusion and sometime it would tap in using the cc. Be aware of this as you could get charged double depending on where you use it. Put most common used card on the front, as a londoner, i put the oyster front, and take it out when using bus or train.Wish i did not have to take out card and have both in there recognizing just the front, but it's the way it is. Nothing major, but it would be a bonus.Overall this is a great cover if you don't mind having all your cards (3 in my case) on the back of your phone for easy to access usage.It literally took me 2 days to get used to and since then i love it!I can even add 2x £20 notes on the front with all 3 cards if you are just curious.The fit is perfect and you don't have to worry about any cards coming out at any time. It is quite difficult taking out the back card, especially if you have 2 cards in there like me, but tbh, that is just good for safety of your cards.

I wanted to keep this case as it looked and felt great. However, once my iPhone X was inside, it was immediately obvious that the case is not quite a perfect fit. I'm not sure if it's poor quality control, but when the iPhone is inside, the sides of the case do not fit tightly against the phone and instead bow ever so slightly outwards. The means that when you look at the phone you can't help but feel that the case isn't in properly even though it is. If you like things to be perfect or are even slightly OCD then this case is going to drive you nuts and I'm afraid I had to return mine which is a shame as the case with it's fabric feel was quite different and a refreshing change from the mass of silicone or rubber cases out on the market.

I brought this for my iPhone X and when it arrived I was a bit disappointed with the way it holds tightly to the phone. I felt that it seemed loose and things will be able to get behind the phone and make dirty. I wrote a review and gave it 3 out of 5.The seller contacted me after reading my review and was not happy that I wasn't 100% satisfied with my purchase that he contacted me to tell me it must be a defected item and he would post out another one immediately.I got it this morning and it fits perfectly. Incredible customer service and highly recommended by myself after I saw the seller take the initiative and do what is right for his customer.Thank you and one of the best sellers on here.

Out of the box this is a really neat, practical, elegant-looking case and the only phone case for which I've actually received compliments. And it is appealingly inexpensive. The problem is that it doesn't last: within a month or two the fabric gets worn, shiny and loses its appealing texture. You get what you pay for. I ordered one in November 2018; by March 2019 it looked tatty. My family got me a new one as a birthday present in May 2019 but on writing this in August 2019, it looks similarly tatty and more seriously one of the exterior buttons has fallen off. I'm not a hardcore environmentalist/sustainability guy but I can't justify replacing twice a year or more so I'm going to find something a bit more premium/durable.
