We love it even 2+years later
We've had it almost 3 years and it's still as beautiful as when we put it up and it is sturdy and holds both of us at 300+lbs each. No issues with bed bugs like others claimed. No strong smell either. You do need a drill though to put it together but the instructions are easy to follow.

Looks Great Solid Construction
My husband put it together with a little help from me. I basically handed him the hardware as he was went and relayed what the next step was. In the end the bed is very solid. I put my new mattress on with no trouble or rather my husband did, and it doesn’t squeak or move at all when I get in and out of bed. The pieces all arrived in good condition free from rips tears or cracks. We had all the necessary hardware and tools. I think the headboard looks very nice and I’m happy with it. Some advice for assembling, organize all the hardware before you start. Make sure you set it on a surface that’s going to make it easy to see. Don’t put it on the carpet if it will get lost in there. I assembled the hardware before beginning the next step. For example if it says use pieces 3,4,5 I put the washer onto the bolt and then partially screwed the nut on before handing it to my husband whom was screwing them im. If you have someone helping it will go faster. My second tip is this, the provided tools will work but it will take longer using them so use your own tools if you have them. You will need a drill to put the screws into the slats which are located under a Velcro flap behind the headboard.

Great overall for the price!
Delivery: I purchased the king size frame back in the beginning of March and it arrived pretty quick, if I remember it was within 7-10 days. Both boxes were pretty beat up and I almost didn’t accept the delivery in fear parts/pieces were broken but damaged boxes aren’t a new thing for my route unfortunately. Luckily the bed was packaged very very well so there was not a scratch on it.Assembly: pretty simple. If you’re familiar with building anything from mainstay brand from Walmart it’s about the same. Worst part is dealing with the Allen wrench—tedious work turning all the bolts in small increments. Some of the wooden slats that have pre-drilled holes in them to then drill into the side boards we’re already split but only a few (less than 5) so the integrity of the bed I doubt was affected. We plan to check the slats in a month or so to see if they need any reinforcements but the two metal support beams alone would be sturdy enough. I’m 5’ 3, not at all athletic and I put the entire bed together in about 2-2.5 hours.Me and my husband combined are probably around 350lbs and the mattress we got is well over 100lbs and we’ve heard no creaks/cracks/bending so far!

The slats are shipped in a compartment in the headboard
This bed frame is beautiful. It was relatively easy to put together (time consuming but easy). The parts don't just snap together there are bolts and screws, but one person can assemble it in about an hour. When I first opened it and was looking for the pieces I couldn't find the slats. I was extremely tired from a day of cleaning and preparing for the new bed that I did not read the instructions properly. I couldn't find the slats. I emailed the seller and they were very responsive and instructed me that there is a compartment in the headboard. I found the slats and felt like an idiot. My only complaint is regarding fed ex who shipped it. They left it out on the front porch when it started to rain instead of in front of the garage under the overhang. I paid $60 for shipping so it was a bit frustrating. I sent the picture to the seller and they refunded my shipping fee.I'm so incredibly happy with this bed frame. I'm not a robot or a fake reviewer, I purchased this for my birthday and I'm very happy with it.

It's a hit or miss for some people.
After reading what seemed like a million reviews on this frame, I decided to just get it. And I am honestly in love with it. However the reviews seemed to be a hit or miss. Some said they only received one box, some didn't get the pallet boards, some said it had bed bugs. So I hope this review helps more. There is 2 boxes that are supposed to come... a long one with the side frame, and a tall one for the headboard. The frame itself is made of real wood but thin pieces like an inch or so... it should be durable for at least a few years. (Depending on the weight in it) It is a wood frame not a metal one although the center legs are metal. I wouldn't recommend it for children who like to jump on beds. As for adults... maybe just pull it an inch or 2 away from the wall to make the pressure on the legs are all equally distributed and make sure you retighten the bolts after it's standing on its own. It shouldn't wobble, but over time maybe just tighten them again when you flip your mattress or something. As for the bedbugs... I've always thought that was a myth because of the nursery rhyme... BUT ITS NOT! I've dealt with those suckers once before that came in from a brand new couch. And they're seriously the worse. They multiply faster than roaches. I took a picture of what looks like it could be bedbugs. That's the only spot so fingers crossed its not bad. So I just went to the grocery store and bought bedbug spray and soaked the whole frame. The whole frame is fabric covered wood. Bedbugs also like to live in wood. So I'm hoping that'll work. The pallet boards are located in the back under the velcro flap of the headboard. I probably would've never found them if it didn't fall out when I picked it up. Definitely a weird spot for them. I was missing 2 of the bolts, but I made it work out and still sturdy...they're easy to come by. Overall I think it's a gorgeous frame. For the price it's durable enough. I hope this helps.
