I have used VINOD pressure cooker for many years and found to be the best one. I totally love it! It’s so easy to use with the perfect result every time. When I read negative reviews, I just smile. With all due respect, I don’t think they know how to use the cooker property. This is considered the best brand in India. It is known as a “whistler”. It is very different than Presto brand of cookers. Every recipe has a number of whistles to count. All you have to do is count the whistles and shut off the range when the count is complete. Let is stand for a few minutes, cool down a bit and then slowly release the weight on top. If you expect to open it right away the lid will not because of the steam pressure inside. Read the instructions carefully before using it for the first time. The stainless steel is of very high quality with sandwich bottom. If you care for yours properly, it will look just as bright after years of service. I also own a Presto pressure cooker which is good too but my most favorite is my “Whistler” which makes cooking easy, breezy and delicious! Good luck to the present and future owners. 👍

I cook as many of my meals as possible because I like cooking and it is healthier and economical to eat at home. I was looking for a pressure cooker to reduce time as I am juggling work and higher education. This pressure cooker serves the purpose perfectly. It is very high quality steel. The body and handles are both very sturdy. I do not write reviews until I have tried the products. I have been using this cooker for a few months now and at least 3 times per week. It still looks good as new. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to reduce cooking time.

Iam from India and a pressure cooker is a must in my kitchen.I was looking for a stainless steel cooker.This cooker has been great in my kitchen so far.I got this cooker at a great price and I am happy with its functions.Its a standard cooker,easy to use ,clean does not need a lot of maintenance.

The product is good and buying over amazon is much cheaper than Artesia, CA.The price in Indian stores are almost twice the price.

First it was leaking, so I tried to fix the gasket better than I can't close the lid. It got stuck. Can't open or close. Contact support to replace it taking their sweet time. Better send me pre paid return label so I can send this damaged product back.

I waited for a long time for the fluctuating price to hit rock bottom before I bought it. I followed the instructions to the tee with first time usage. Daal cooks perfectly with 1 whistle and then 10 minutes of medium to low heat. Overall satisfied.

Excellent product. Got what the post. Also got an extra gasket and a safety valve.Perfect for making dal, Cholle, chicken, fish, etc!Prompt delivery. Stainless steel is better then aluminium.

Actually first when I saw it was good but when I started cooking the cooker was not hit good my whole food was burnt out I do not know why

Quite sturdy, but the steam got trapped without being released causing the top to blow off during the cooking process. Luckily no one was hurt, though everything in the kitchen was broken or dented.
