At first I was mis guided because I thought that the fan that is visible is where the air came out. So for an hour I let it run and thought well it's not going to work out. I started to use it in the kitchen where it is the hottest in the house. Well something told me to turn it around and open the blue vents and viola-- there was plenty of mist and cold air. It's not a rip off. It is used best in a children bed room, office or a room ( not living room or garage) that has only one person. If you have two of more people who are actively moving all the time and not resting no one would notice the coolness. Place a dish towel under the Portable Air Conditioner fan so there isn't any water damage because of the mist. I can feel it from two feet away.

Very cheap product that doesn't even perform its intended function - its just a cheap fan! My first clue was that the instructions were out of order and in broken English. The second clue was that it didn't condition the air (the main function of an air conditioner). Save yourself the trouble of immediately returning this item, and just don't buy in the first place.

Seemed to work fine as it was pushing out cool air but could not get it to stop leaking water and I attempted several times. Honored my return & refunded $ promptly.

Well it's a fan lol. Definitely not what I expected. So the thing is you put in cold water and it's supposed to blow out cold air. Well i had no cold water so, I put in some water from the tap and a couple ice cubes hoping that would work. Well it blows out moderately cooler air than a normal fan would. Its suppsoed to have a mister too. I can see it but I cant feel it. Makes a decent desk fan, but not so much as an ac unit or even a personal cooler. Definitely dont like how when the mister sprays it of course will build up and leak but as long as you have the tray open it should be fine. Over all tho, i'd give it 2.5 stars. I'll tryy again with some colder water but if not what I like im returning it

Absolutely horrible! We tested out on if the units and it never produced “cold” air. It simply recycled the hot air in the room, leaked EVERYWHERE, and could not even hold up to the basic fan we had. Do not waste your money at all! You’re better off using ice packs to cool yourself

It works add scent oil and its grrat

It works if it's pointing directly at your face. I mixed ice cubes and water and it doesn't last more than one hour. Hassle and it's a mess. It also made the room very humid. LESSON: You get what you pay for.

Helped a tad during our hot So. Cal summer days. Adding ice cubes to the water tray helped.
