Once you figure out how to use the transparent plastic scrubbing device (for want of a better name) it works surprisingly well.Fill it with chain cleaning fluid (not included, so you'll have to purchase separately) and fiddle about with setting it up - ensuring that you have the gadget pointing in the right direction, and crank your chain round.This last part might be awkward if you don't have a stand that lifts your bike off the ground. Be warned, if you turn your bike upside down to use this the cleaning device may well dribble diluted oil and cleaning fluid all over your bike!Overall, works very well - to the point that you probably won't even need to use the included scrubbing brushes. I use this a couple of times a year and lube the chain straight away once it's been dried as it'll go rusty very quickly otherwise.It's quite a messy process, hence the 4 stars as opposed to 5, but I suspect this would be the same for all of these chain cleaners.

It was fiddly to use and fell apart, but I put it back together and actually managed to give my bike chain and cog a good clean (following how-to videos). The chain brush was quite useful. The chain container was very fiddly. However, it`s not something that will last long, but for the price, ok for a one or two wash.

The product is good, comes all the bits to clean your bike. The brushes bristles feels sturdy like they will last for many use. The chain device also feels like it will last long as its made from sturdy plastic material. There is no manual to show how to open the device but there is a vague "OPEN" description where you push the other half of the device to pull it apart. An opening on the top of the device where you can spray cleaner would be useful.

Really impressed with this cleaner. Does the job really well and not that much mess. If the brushes drop out of the devise, that is a pain to put back in the right order, would be good if they were fixed in somehow.Overall, if you want to degrease your bike without mess, this is definitely I piece of kit you need

Did a good job of cleaning the chains on my 3 bike. One was extremely dirty and came up cleaner than I though it would. It’s the easiest thing on earth to use and could be operated by a child.If you think it’s going to get your chain like brand new then it’s not the think for you. The only way to clean a chain to make it like new is to remove it from the bike and leave it in degreaser

Does not clean the sides of the chain effectively.Top and bottom fine but not the all round clean I was looking for.Design is functional and looks like the brushes are adequate, but evidently not my experience.

A compact and well produced product , this enables you to clean and revitalize your chain without producing a lot of external mess to clean up after procedure..

Great little kit, works wonders with muck off chain cleaner! The gloves wernt very good but they were just a freebie... the other tools were useful once I had the technique right!
