Does it Really Work This Fast?!
I ordered this shampoo on April 19th and received it a few days later. I started using it around April 21st. I love that the shampoo is sulfate-free and also aims to prevent additional hair loss. The bottle is a good size and the smell isn't strong but it's pleasant enough--not medicinal at all.I used the shampoo as directed and really massaged my scalp for a full 3-4 minutes at least. Then, I left it on while finishing my shower so I had it on for a good 5 mins or so. This might or might not be important but it certainly didn't hurt my results. I wanted to wait as long as possible before reviewing the product to give it plenty of time to work but it started working within days! I wondered whether it's just that I haven't been able to get a haircut due to Covid or what...I like that: 1) there are no sulfates or parabens; 2) it can be used by men or women so my husband can get in on it as well; 3) it works for various hair types; and 4) the products are made in the USA. My benefits might have been heightened because I also purchased the Amplixin Intensive Biotin Hair Growth Serum, which comes in a small spray bottle. After shampooing, I spray it in the back crown area and in the front, near my forehead where my hair has been visibly thinning. Not sure it’s apparent from my photos but I don't see my baldish spot any more, and though the back is still sparse, it's not nearly as thin as it was a few days ago.I'm really pleased with these results and will continue to use both products as I continue to age. I also plan to try the Amplixin Conditioner at some point. I took a look at the questions that were asked and will add my two cents to what’s there right now:1. Does the shampoo tingle on the scalp? It did not for me. I’ve used products that tingle and I’m not moved either way but this shampoo did not tingle at all.2. Has anyone had any problems with it causing small sores on head after using? No. I’ve been using it since April 21st and had zero problems with sores or other issues.3. Is this 8oz a 1 month supply? I agree with Minerva’s reply on this one. It all depends…4. Do you like this product? Absolutely! I really see it working as far as thickening my hair but am hoping it will also enhance my hair length as I continue using it together with the serum.

My widening hair part is looking much better
I wish I'd taken "before" photos to show my widening hair part vs how it's looking now, after going through three bottles of this shampoo. I wasn't sure about this product at first because it's kind of drying (which can get dicey fast for curly/wavy hair like mine) and I'm not crazy about the scent (kind of a tart, "kitchen lemon", androgynous scent; not overpowering, but I don't love it). But what I've settled into doing is washing my hair first with my usual curl-friendly shampoo, then applying this shampoo just to my scalp - NOT to the rest of my hair - and letting it do its DHT-blocking magic for a good 5 minutes before a final lather & rinse, followed by my usual conditioner and curl-friendly styling products. And truly, after several months of doing this each time I wash my hair, I can almost always feel new growth popping up at my crown and my part that had been very visibly widening is looking a lot better.I feel like this shampoo is helping me get a handle on female pattern baldness in an early stage, before it got totally out of hand. I can't speak to how it works for women with baldness that's already further progressed before starting this treatment, but it's working better than expected for me to reverse my mild/moderate hair loss. I'll add that I had previously been using Veta topical therapy for women with no noticeable results, and after having returned Veta's DHT-blocking shampoo because the scent was very strong, like men's cologne. Amplixin shampoo is the clear winner for me on both scent and effectiveness!**Update, February 2021: Continuing to consistently use this product, the benefits seem to have stalled out or plateaued. In the first several months of use there was a visible difference to my widening part, but now not so much. It might be helping my hair loss to not get worse at this point, but I no longer see it getting better. Might take a break from it for a month and try again. Will update again if I do that.
